Veleka Gray has nurtured and promoted the careers of over twelve hundred students in collegiate, corporate, and private venues.
After spending a lifetime in show business herself, she instructs from solid experience.

Miss Gray teaches acting and improvisation for stage and camera from the vantage of one who has been in the trenches herself.
She has taught personal presentation to students as varied as New York fashion models and the inmates at San Quentin prison.
She has won two awards for her work as a sales trainer for a division of Timex in Las Vegas and was employed as the National
Training Director for MMI in Houston, Texas. Her method for overcoming the anxiety of public speaking has transformed hundreds
of executives and managers into dynamic and fear-free orators.
|
|
Her primary approach to teaching is based on the Socratic method, whereby Miss Gray and her students form a team in which
every voice is heard and encouraged to contribute to the format of each class. This insures that no class is ever the same.
From her vast pools of experience, Miss Gray is able to enlighten students on any theatrical or sales topic they may need
to know. She works with students of any age over eight. In her private tutoring, she trains only those who aspire to be professional
performers.

Miss Gray was educated at the Louise S. McGehee school and Sophie Newcomb College in New Orleans. Her style of teaching is
also defined as The Teacher in the Myers-Briggs Personality Types. See the link below for further explication. Miss Gray teaches
with heart-felt enthusiasm and joy and imparts the same to those lucky enough to work with her!
