QIWA was created to fill a unique niche in the world of awards -- the needs of the webmaster who did not wish to affiliate his/her awards program with an awards-rating index.  But in recent months, the world of awards has been rapidly shrinking as people lose interest in web awards and close or abandon their sites.  The initial flurry of applications has slowed to a trickle and is now at the point when the mailbox attracts nothing except spammers. 

These events have brought me to the sad conclusion that QIWA's time has passed.  As the old saying goes, "When the story has finished, close the book."  Please remove your links to QIWA.  This domain will expire on September 1, 2008 and will not be renewed...at least, not by the present owner.
