About Me
Silver Lining On Our Love

It happened one night, at a dance at school
When we were alone together.
I never had known the sun could shine at night,
Or that it could last forever.
It didn't take long before everyone knew
That you and I were meant to be.
When you walked down the aisle, and you said, "I do,"
I was happy as a man can be.

Your sunshine is bright as ever.
Your smile is still a gift from God above.
We've shared our hopes and fears
For five and twenty years.
There's a silver lining on our love.

We've had our ups and downs as the years went by.
And who knows what tomorrow brings?
The kids are all grown, and our hair is gray,
But the love in our heart still sings.
With you by my side, everything is all right.
We're happy and we're fancy free.
If you'll kiss me tonight, and you'll hold me tight,
I'll be happy as a man can be.

Your sunshine is bright as ever.
Your smile is still a gift from God above.
We've shared our hopes and fears
For five and twenty years.
There's a silver lining on our love.

Let's share our laughs and tears for 25 more years.
There's a silver lining on our love.

Silver Lining On Our Love

This is a song I wrote for my wife for our silver (25th) anniversary.  I'm no singer, but I think she liked the song anyway.
