Award Indices

This is not a complete listing, but presents many of the major indices.  Some indices rate the awards that they list, some do not.  Many have articles, forums and other resources for the awards webmaster.

Aussie Awards is a non-rated index of awards with Australian webmasters.

Award Sites! is the oldest and most established rated index of web site awards.  A list of award programs rated from 2.5 to 5.0+.

Awards Awards is one of the oldest non-rating awards indices on the Web.

Awards Program International Rating Service (APIRS) is an index listing only programs which notify applicants before and after application and which give quality feedback to applicants.  Sites are rated from 3 to 6.

Awards Treasure Chest is an index for family-safe awards programs.  Sites are rated from 1 to 5.

Russian Award Gallery list awards based in Russia or which accept Russian-language sites for evaluation.

Swiss Award Index lists awards in four separate categories: all awards, Swiss awards, design awards and beautiful awards.  (Site is written in German.)

United Web Site Award Givers is a reincarnation of the now-retired United Award Givers program, with the goal of connecting award seekers with award givers.  Award sites are rated from 1 to 6.

WebsAwards is the second-oldest awards-rating index, now under new management and completely overhauled.  Sites are rated on a 1 to 5 scale.

Website Awards has a large listing of web awards (both Award Sites!-rated and independent) in a useful worksheet format.  This index determines the very selective World's Top Awards.  There are numerous articles, too.  Be sure to read the article on how to prepare your site.
