2006

  • August 5 - 6 - Pyro earns TWO Super Q's in Snooker with a 4th and 1st place to finish her ADCH!!!  She also finished her RCH with a 1st place.   Rush wins the Grand Prix, and Pyro places 4th.
  • July 29 - 30  -  Pyro earns a Double Q on Saturday and Rush earns a Double Q on Sunday
  • July 22 - 23 - Pyro finishes her GM!  Rush wins the Grand Prix
  • July 7 - 9  -  Wags for Wishes!  So far we've made it every year for this great event....Rush did agility, and Pyro got to do agility and dock diving.  Rush won Ex. B standard all 3 days (including his 2nd 60 point MACH run on 7/9), and Pyro took 2nd in Standard 2 days, and 3rd place on 7/8.  Rush earned over 160 MACH points, and Pyro earned 90.  Pyro also had a personal best in Dock Diving in 19'6"...and earned a slot in the Open Finals. 
  • July 1 - 4  -  Pyro finished her JCH (7/1) and Rush finished his GCH (7/1).
  • May 12 - 14 - On Friday, Pyro's DAM team Qualified...it's her 5th DAM Qualifier to day.  Pyro goes 3 for 4, earning her 8th DQ, winning Standard on Sunday and placing in JWW and STD on Saturday.  Rush's DAM Team Qualified with a 6th place overall. 
  • March 18-19 - Rush finishes his TM-Platinum.  Pyro earns her second Double Q.  Only 4 legs to her ADCH.
  • March 11-12  -  Rush finished his MACH by earning his 20th Double Q on March 12th.  He won 3 of his 4 classes out of the 20" class.  Pyro earns Double Q #6 on March 11th.  She took 2nd in JWW....only .3 seconds behind Rush
  • March 4 - 5  -  Pyro finishes her SAM title, and earns a GP Qualifier....she is now qualified in all 3 events for the 2006 USDAA Nationals.  Rush finishes his SACH-Silver on March 5.
  • February 18  -  Pyro two of her best jumps in dock diving to date.  She jumps 18'2".

 

2005

  • October 29 - 30  -  Rush earns a relay leg, and wins Masters Standard and Masters Jumpers.  Pyro finished her MAD by earning a 6th place in Masters Standard.
  • October 22 - 23  -  Pyro finishes her RM, and earns a Masters Standard, a Masters Jumpers and a Super Q.  Rush wins Masters Standard and Masters Jumpers, and also earns a relay leg and a snooker leg.
  • October 14 - 16  -  Pyro goes 4 for 4 her first official weekend in Ex. B standard and Ex. B JWW.  She earns a 1st, 2-2nds and a 3rd.  Rush wins JWW on Saturday.
  • October 8 - 9  -  Pyro finishes her AX!!!
  • October 1 - 2  -  Pyro goes 4 for 4 earning two double Q's.  Unfortunately her Ex. B Standard legs do not count, so she loses them.  Rush wins JWW each day, and Pyro came in 2nd in JWW.
  • October 1  -  Pyro compete in the 1st Annual Doggie High jump a tthe Del Mar Grand Prix.  She tied for first!!  Approximate jump height is 56 to 58".
  • September 25  -  Pyro earns an Ex. B standard Leg (but it's taken away due to not completing her AX).
  • September 24  -  Pyro does a taping for the Guiness World Record of Amazing Animals (to be aired on the Discover Channel).  She clears 53" in the high jump, and ticked 57".
  • September 17 - 18  -  Pyro finished her AXJ (and due to an error on my part earns a 4th MX leg).  She also earns an AX Leg (and unfortunately my record keeping made me think she earned her AX so I bumped her to Ex. B standard
  • September 10 - 11  -  Rush earns two more Masters Gamblers leg.  He also wins Masters Standard and Masters Jumpers, and earns a Masters Relay leg and a Masters Snooker leg. 
  • September 3 - 5  -  Pyro's DAM team (Belgian Shock-a-lot) qualifies at the Bay Team Super Regional.  Rush ties for 1st in Team Standard and 2nd in Masters Standard.  He places 4th in Rd 1 of the Grand Prix.  Rush also earns a Masters Gamblers Leg
  • August 20 - 21 - Rush earns DQ #13 with a 1st in JWW and Std.  Pyro earns two AXJ legs.
  • August 13 - 14 - Rush wins 22" Masters Standard.  Pyro takes 3rd and Rush takes 1st in Rd. 1 of Steeplechase.  In Rd. 2 Rush places 2nd.    Pyro and Rush both earn Relay legs, and Pyro earns earns her 6th Masters Jumpers leg.
  • August 6 - 7 - Pyro takes 2nd in 22" Steeplechase Rd. 2, and Rush takes 4th.  Rush's DAM team with Xtra and Rumor takes 4th overall.  Rush wins Team Standard and Team Snooker.  Pyro earns her 5th Masters Jumpers leg, finishing her JM title.
  • July 15 - 17 - Rush and Pyro head up to Washington for the NW USDAA Regional.  Rush earns a Masters Gamblers, and Masters Jumpers leg.  Pyro earns her 4th JM leg.  Rush's DAM Team - Bark Raving Mad wins the DAM tournament (with 58+ teams entered).  He wins the Grand Prix Rd. 1, and places 3rd (losing by .09 seconds) in Rd. 2.  Rush places 3rd in the Steeplechase Rd. 2 (he was 4th in Rd.1).
  • July 8 - 10 - Rush earns Double Q #11 with a 1st place in Std. & JWW.  Pyro finished her OAJ and earns her first AX leg.  In Dock Dogs Pyro jumps her longest jump ever of 16'6"
  • June 4 & 5 - At the DART USDAA tournament only trial - Rush's DAM team - Shhhhh, Don't Tell Stephen (N. Carazo & Axle, S. Spyr & Jag), won the DAM.  Rush took 1st in 22" GP, and 2nd in 22" Steeplechase (thanks to a missed contact :-))
  • May 27 - 30 - Rush went 6 for 8 at a local AKC trial - earning all 6 legs with a 1st place.  He earned Double Q's #9 & #10.
  • April 23 - 24 - Went to a local NADAC trial and earned quite a few legs.  Rush picked up 2 Elite Standard, 1 Elite Jumpers, 1 Elite gamblers, and 2 open tunnelers legs - finishing quite a few titles.  Pyro finished her TN-N, got two Novice Gamble legs, 2 Novice Standard legs, a novice jumper leg, plus on open tunnelers leg.  Vapor has a blast and finished his open tunnelers title, and earned an elite tunnelers leg.
  • April 14 - 17 - Had a very successful weekend up at Dixon.  Rush finished 4th in the Grand Prix.  He completed the RCH title.  His DAM (with Rumor and Reveille)team took 2nd overall.  2 master snooker legs, a master standard, a masters jumpers leg, 2 masters relay legs were earned with many placements.  Pyro earned a Masters standard leg and a Masters jumpers leg.
  • March 19 - Rush finally gets his last Gamble leg for his ADCH! 
  • March 5 - 6 - Rush earns his TM - Silver with a DAM Q.
  • February 12 - 13 - Rush finished his SCH and JCH with some very nice runs.  He earned 2 Super Q's in Snooker (8th and 5th place), and a 3rd place in Jumpers.  He also won Masters Standard on Sunday, a 2nd place in Relay, and a 2nd place in 22" Grand Prix.  Pyro earned a Masters Snooker and Masters Jumpers leg.
  • January 15 - 16 - We had a very succesful weekend.  Pyro qualifies in the Grand Prix in 22" and Rush wins the 26" Grand Prix.  In Addition, Rush won Masters Jumpers and Masters Pairs.  Pyro earned a 1st in Advanced Standard, a 2nd in Advanced Gamblers and Advanced Pairs, and a 3rd in Advanced Jumpers.  She now has her AAD.
  • Januay 1 - 2  -  Rush wins 20" Ex. B JWW.  Pyro completes her NA and NAJ. 

2004

  • December 30 - 31 - Rush goes 5 for 5, winning all 5 classes.  He wins 20" Ex. B Standard & JWW both days, as well as winning 26" ISC JWW (and $24 :-)).
  • December 18 - 19  -  Rush wins Rd. 1 & Rd 2 of the 22" Steeplechase.  Pyro put in a game effort but did not place high enough.  Rush earned a Masters Snooker leg, and a Masters Standard leg - finish his S-ACH Bronze. 
  • December 11 - 12 - Rush placed 4th in Rd. 2 of the DART Steeplechase.  He had the fastest time, but got called for an up a-frame contact.  Pyro earned an advanced standard leg (#2) and an advanced snooker leg.
  • November 26 - 28  -  Rush Q'd in 5 of 6 runs with 5 first and 1 second place.  He earned Double Q #5 and #6, and a total of just over 180 MACH points.
  • November 20 -  Rush earned an Ex. B Std leg with a 1st place and 50 MACH points. 
  • November 11 - 14  -  Pyro and Rush went to the USDAA Nationals.  While we didn't earn any placements, or get to advance to further rounds - Rush and Pyro both put in some very nice runs and times.  Small bobbles in each run prevented us from really making our mark.  Pryo also earned 3 legs in Dock Diving - with her longest jump being 13'5".   Photos should be up on their pages soon.
  • November 6 - 7  -  Vapor earned his first open tunnelers leg in a local NADAC trial.  His times were very impressive...only 3 se
  • October 30 - 31, Pyro earned her first Advanced Standard leg with a very nice run. 
  • October 2 - 3  -  Rush won 22" Masters Standard (Sun.), Masters Pairs, and Masters Gamblers.  He placed 2nd in the 22" Grand Prix.  Pyro gave the Grand Prix a valiant effort, but could not be persuaded to take the dogwalk on a tunnel/dogwalk discrimination :-)
  • September 18 - 19 - Rush's DAM team of Axle & Lilu are Rushin' to AZ win the CPAC Tournament trial.  Rush wins the 22" Steeplechase.  Pyro earns her 4th Grand Prix Q of the year (out of 5 runs!!).
  • September 11-12  -  Rush wins 20" Ex. B JWW both days (he remains undefeated in 20" Ex. B JWW.  Pyro has some nice runs as well
  • September 4 - 6 - Rush & Pyro go to the Bay Team Super Regional and we have a great weekend.  Pyro and Rush both earn Q's in the Steeplechase, and both earn earned a Q in Rd. 1 of the Grand Prix.  Rush's DAM Team of Able's Scoutin' for a Rush finish 14th, earning Rush the TM-Bronze title.  Both dogs had many placements scattered throughout the weekend.
  • August 28-29, 2004 - Rush wins the 22" USDAA Grand Prix, and finishes him RM.  Pyro earns a Q in the Grand Prix - qualifying her for the USDAA Nationals.
  • August 14 - 15, 2004  -  At the WVDS Trial, Rush earns several qualifying scores.  He earned a Masters Relay, Jumper (1st place) and Standard leg (2nd place).  He won Steeplechase Rd. 1, and finished 4th in Rd. 2 - thanks to a knocked bar.  Pyro had a great weekend earning her first Grand Prix leg.  Additionally she earned a Starters Standard, Gamblers, Relay and Jumpers leg.
  • August 7 - 8, 2004 - Rush finishes his SACH and SM title.  He also earned another Grand Prix leg, and finished 4th in Rd. 2 of the Steeplechase (once again a handler induced refusal cost us dearly).  Pyro had a great debut - earning a leg in Starters Snooker, Starters Gamblers, and Starters Pairs.
  • July 31 - Aug 1, 2004  -  Rush finished 3rd in Steeplechase Rd. 1 (even with a run by the a-frame), and ends up 4th in Steeplechase Rd. 2 (2 handler induced refusals).  He won Team Jumpers, and his DAM Team "Aussie the Border Within" (Mark Pavelka & Scout, and Charlie Pace and Annie Blue) finished 14th out of 56 teams.  Rush completed his TM title.
  • July 16 - 18, 2004 - Rush goes to the Super Regional in Vancouver, WA.  He earns two Masters Standard legs, the last Jumpers leg needed for his JM, a Super Q in Masters Snooker, a 2nd place in Steeplechase Rd. 2, he qualified with his DAM team - Thyme for Caper's Rush, and also earned a bye to the semi-finals at the 2004 USDAA Nationals.  Rush earned quite a few placements this weekend as well.....
  • July 11, 2004 - Rush earns DQ #4 with a first in JWW and STD.
  • July 10, 2004 - Pyro earns her first NAJ leg with a 2nd place.
  • June 10 - 12, 2004 - A great weekend at the SCAT NADAC Trial.  Pyro makes her debut in tunnelers and jumpers, earning two legs in Novice Tunnelers.  Vapor earns one leg in Novice tunnelers.  Rush finishes a total of 4 titles with many placements.
  • June 5, 2004  -  Rush wins the ACSD 2004 Grand Prix Local Qualifier.  He is now eligible to compete at the USDAA Nationals in the Grand Prix and Steeplechase.
  • May 19,2004 - Rush does a taping for the Ellen DeGeneres show. 
  • May 16, 2004 - Rush earns Double Q#3, with a 1st in JWW and STD.
  • May 15, 2004 - Rush completed the MX title with a 1st place.
  • May 8, 2004  -  Rush earns Double Q #2 with a 1st in JWW and STD.
  • May 1, 2004  -  Rush has been selected to appear in two different books.
  • April 24, 2004 - Rush earned his 2nd OJC leg to finish the title.
  • March 13, 2004 - Rush finishes his ASCA Started Sheep title.
  • March 6 - 7, 2004  -  Rush earned 5 legs this weekend at the CPAC USDAA Trial.  A 2004 Grand Prix Qualifier leg, 1 Masters Standard leg (1st place), 2 Master Gamblers legs (2nd and 4th place), and a Relay Master leg (5th place).
  • February 14 - 15, 2004  -  Rush has a great weekend at the WVDS USDAA Trial.  He earned 1 Masters Standard leg to finish his MAD on 2/15.  He also earned a Super Q, a Master Jumper and a Master Relay leg. 
  • February 7, 2004  -  Rush finishes his MXJ title with all first places
  • January 18, 2004  -  Rush wins the ACSD 22" 2004 local Steeplechase Qualifier, plus wins 22" Masters Standard & Jumpers
  • January 17, 2004  -  Rush wins 22" Masters Standard and Round 1of the Steeplechase.
  • November 23, 2003 - Rush finishes his AAD title with a 1st Place
  • November 23, 2003 - Rush finished 2nd in the DART 2004 Steeplechase  Qualifier.
  • November 8, 2003 - Rush earns two dock diving legs with his longest Jump being 11'2".   Good for a 3rd place at the Junior level.
