Dark Greetings to All!
My interest in vampires and darkness is beyond just a few links so I decided to create a webpage devoted entirely to my passion. For as long as I can remember, I've had an obsession with vampires whether it be in books, movies or art. Even in my Graphic Design course, many of my projects seemed to reflect my darker side. Most of the pictures that I manipulate for characters in Roleplaying are of the gothic, dark and vampiric influence. Gallery I contains images of Vampire and Gothic Women and Gallery II contains images of Vampire and Gothic Men.
In my Art Theory course, I had to write several thesis papers on subjects that have an influence in art. I took ths opportunity to delve deeper into the world of vampires and write about how they have influenced art through literature, movies and even role playing. Included writings are on Bram Stoker's Dracula, Vampires in Literature and Film, and the History of the role playing game, Vampire: the Masquerade. Also included are two pages of stories and poetry I found on the internet which I believe epitomize the romantic and tragic side of Vampires
And while we are in the realm of darkness, I also needed to add a page dedicated to Halloween. My interest in Halloween coincides with my passion of vampires and I had to pay tribute to this special day.
