Knowing that WWW stands for the World Wide Web, it is interesting to note
three other "W" words that are meant to encompass the world as well. We use
these three words to shape our outreach value system. They are:
 | The Witness - We are a congregation of Evangelical
Christians who desire to serve the Lord and brighten the corner where
we are.
We come together to Worship our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. We are
ordinary people who have been touched by an extraordinary Savior. He
has filled our hearts with Love for Him and has enabled us to reach
out in love with the love we have received.
We may have some quirks and we have rough going now and then, but it
is those things that keep us looking to our Lord for guidance and
strength. It is God’s desire that we experience His love in harmony
with Him, and one another. It is our desire that you join us in our
services of worship that you too may enjoy the fellowship of the Holy
Spirit and the people of God.
If you are an ordinary person looking for the extraordinary life the
Savior has to offer, we invite you to join with us as we come together
to worship our great God during Sunday services and on Wednesday
Evenings. We would be glad to have you join us. |
| The Word - We hold the Bible to be the Word of God and the
sixty-six books it contains to be inerrant in the original autographs.
They are given to guide us as a lamp unto our feet, and a light unto
our path. In the Bible, God has revealed Himself to us and He has
revealed to us His will for our lives.
The Bible reveals Jesus Christ as the way to God. “For God so loved
the world that He gave his one and only son, that whoever believes in
Him shall not perish but have eternal life” (Jn. 3:16). Jesus died for
our sins, but God raised him from the dead. Because of this, we too
can die to our sins and share in the life God has to offer.
In the Bible, God reveals to us the remedy for our sin, shame, and
guilt, and opens the way for us to have a personal relationship with
Him. His Word is a letter to mankind that reveals the desperate,
sinful condition of man apart from God, and lights up a pathway of
return for man, leading him into the presence of his creator to be
restored to favor and delivered from the sin that leads people away
from God and into despair. |
| The World - God’s desire is that men and women
who were created in His own image but were deformed by sin be
transformed. Without the healing ministry of Jesus Christ, the sinful
nature of man leads him into a miserable existence. It is only through
the transforming touch of Jesus that we can experience the kind of
life that we were designed to have. When this happens, and people are
changed through Jesus Christ, the world is a better place.
It is because we have experienced the love and joy that comes from
being a Christian that we want to share the truth of what we have
found with others.
As we behold a sad and disfigured world around us, it is only natural
that we would desire to see it transformed through the very same power
that transforms us, and offers such fulfillment and satisfaction to
those of us who were once lost.
Because of the Greatness of God, the miserable state of mankind apart
from God, and the hope that can only come through Jesus Christ, we
meet together to worship God, to listen to Him, and to gather strength
from Him and one another, that we might change the world. Will you
