Passions Runnin High
(aka Smokey) 2005 91% NFQHA, AQHA grulla stallion prospect
with tons of dun factor (cobwebbing on face, chest and shoulders, ear points, muzzle, leg barring, and a dorsal
stripe) - and loads of color in his pedigree!!! He is eligible to show AQHA, FQHR, NFQHA, ABHA,
IBHA and ARHA......
Smokey was born a silver grulla, has excellent conformation and color,
with a very small white star on his forehead and one white hind foot. He leads, loads, ties, grooms, clips, has
been sacked out and is working well in the round pen - walk/trot, turns, whoa, and face in - all on voice
and/or body cues. His first saddeling was very quiet - saddled, lunged, without a buck or protest - and can this boy get around..
~~~~~~~~~~~~~He has been SOLD - CONGRATULATIONS to
returning customer MARY - in Mississippi! Smokey will go there in August to be put under saddle before standing
at stud next spring. He is N/N for HERDA and is bred to one of our mares for 2009.. THANK
YOU - you have loved him for a long time and we are thrilled that this has worked out for you - and him... There
are no worries about how much he will be loved.. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Smokey should mature at 15 to 15.1 hands ....... his pedigree is superb
- he has Poco Bueno, Lady Beaver, Easter King, Peppy San, and John Leo
on his fourth; he has King twice, Gold Rush, Leo San (sire
of Mr San Peppy), Poco Bueno, Dry Doc (x Doc Bar), Leo, Poco Pat (x Poco Bueno), and Jackie
Bee on his fifth - his extended pedigree includes multiple crosses to King and Poco
Bueno, as well as Hancock, Blackburn, Gold King Bailey, Doc Bar, Joe Reed II, Jet Deck, Leo, Wimpy, etc......it
doesn't get much better then this!!!!! We were able to see his dam, sire, granddam and grandsire from the ranch we purchased
him from - all we can say is "nice - very very nice"!
