At the
G Bar M Ranch, we select our stallions first based on conformation and disposition - then
pedigree - then color. Color is nice, but only skin deep - and too many breeders are sacrificing conformation for
color - a beautifully colored horse that does not have the build, disposition, or athletic ability to
compete in cow or family related activities is only a prettily colored pasture ornament. We go only for the
whole package........
Take a look at our new buckskin stud prospect; he will be added to
our stallion roster in 2011 if he is what we hope he will be.
Our other stallion, Pocos Mr Kaycee, currently stands
to the public: he is a line back dun, 94% NFQHA 15.2 hand, HERDA N/N 12 year old, who produces great builds
and great minds - CLICK on the link below for his pictures and information....
The grulla and older buckskin stallion listed her are reference sires only as
they have both been sold. We have one foal due in 2009 from the grulla, and three from the buckskin.
