Zoologists and behavioral scientists are still at odds on the question of why Godzilla and his lizard-like, friends from the mesozoic era, (i.e. dinosaurs **), have such an affinity for cats.  I personally believe the envy felines for their plush, velvety fur and want to snorgle kitty tummies....
 
** Remember:  dinosaurs eventually grew up and became birds and, even today, continue to pester cats!
