In second grade students will:
1. learn correct hand, finger and body position for playing the piano. 2. learn the functions of all the buttons on the pianos. 3. learn how to properly handle and care for the instruments. 4. learn how to find C,D, and E on the piano and play simple CDE songs. |

In third grade students will:
1. continue to use correct hand, finger and body position while playing. 2. utilize the functions of the pianos by mixing and recording sounds. 3. practice using both hands simultaneously on two different simple parts. 4. learn how to find all the notes in an octave from C to C and read simple notation. |

In fourth grade students will:
1. continue to use correct hand, finger and body position while playing. 2. utilize the functions of the piano by creating and recording songs with their partner. 3. continue to use both hands on two different parts with increased complexity. 4. read two hand piano notation. |

1. continue to use correct hand, finger and body position while playing. 2. utilize the functions of the piano by creating, performing and recording alone. 3. continue to use both hands on two different parts. 4. continue to read notation. |
