July 15 - Multicultural Forum meeting at the Coca-Cola Community Room, 5:30 p.m.

July 15 - International Fellowship of Motorcycling Rotarians, 5:30 p.m., Raymond Plue to speak at Grace Episcopal Church (High Street entrance). Attend this Rotary event as a guest of Frank Rycyk.

July 16 - Wednesdays up Woodclift Movie, "Original Intent", 7:00 p.m. This is a PUBLIC EVENT. Bring your friends.

June 18 - Off-the-budget Social Hours, 5:00 p.m.

July 20 - Adult Forum: Godless Sunday School, 9:15 a.m.

July 20 - Youth Religious Education: Native American Spirituality, 10:30 a.m.

July 20 - Service: PET-A Gift of Mobility and Hope, Dick Hanson, 10:30 a.m.

July 21 - Parents and Friends of Lesbians and Gays (PFLAG), 7:00 p.m.

July 23 - Book Discussion: Missouri River Regional Library, 7:00 p.m. "The Age of American Unreason" by Susan Jacoby (many Unitarian references). Contact Kira at the library for info, 634-6064.

July 24 - Deadline to submit articles for August Unterrified Liberal. Contact the editor, Wayne White, at wayne@herbal-harvest.com.

July 26 - Bridges Out of Poverty meeting sponsored by Central Missouri Community Action (CMCA), 9 a.m. to noon. CMCA empowers individuals and families to achieve self-reliance through a variety of programs designed to fight poverty. Meetings are open to anyone interested in learning more about this community outreach program and serves as an opportunity to discover ways in which you can help others. There is no obligation to commit. Light refreshments will be served.

Our Teen Seen Group is planning a trip to Akers Ferry to "Camp Out" at the home of Don & Kathy Love which is near the Current River. Anticipated departure is Fri. or Sat., Aug. 1 or 2; and return is Aug. 3. Water follies, general outdoor fun and good times are expected. This event focuses on the "Teen" group (Middle School and up), with "Teens at Heart" welcomed, too. Interested? Contact Maridee Edwards momwards@aol.com. If you wish more info on the facilities, contact Don Love The Teens are using some of the money they earned from projects this year for food and supplies. There may be some small contribution requested from participants if needed.

Seeking friends to help in the preparation of a wedding shower for Jeana Martin and Eddie Faris which will be held at our church on Sat., Aug. 9, 2008, at 2:00 p.m. All members and friends of the couple will be invited to attend. Contact Alicia White alicia@herbal-harvest.com or 761-4326.
