SCHOOL OF VIOLIN AND VIOLA

WELCOME!

Lessons are scheduled at a regularly designated time each week. Both traditional and Suzuki instruction are offered courses of study. Beginning students from the age of three through college level students and adults are accepted into the course of study. Students learn music reading skills, music theory, solo literature, fiddle music and orchestral reading skills. Students will be prepared for various music festivals, college symphony orchestras, community symphony orchestras and youth orchestras offered in the San Diego and greater San Diego area. Please do not hesitate to contact me if you have any questions regarding the programs offered.

Please note: Students enrolled in the Palomar College Applied Music Program enroll for lessons through the college and are on a separate tuition system through the college. See the page "Palomar College Applied Music Program" for additional details.

Skype lessons will also be available to advanced and or adult students beginning in the summer of 2012. Please contact Ms. Reiner for additional information.

Recital News!

The 2013 Spring Recital will be held on Saturday, April 13th at 3pm at the Lutheran Church of the Incarnation in Poway in the church sanctuary. The address is:

Students will perform solos for families and friends to enjoy. Families and friends are always invited to attend our recitals. Video taping and photography are always welcome however out of respect for our performers please do not use flash.

A summer recital will be offered in August which will also be held at the Lutheran Church of the Incarnation in Poway. Check back in the early summer for the confirmed date for the August recital.

TUITION POLICY AND CALENDAR SCHEDULE!

Any educational institution regardless of it's size or enrollment expects a specific commitment of it's students. It is the responsibility of the individual and family members to make certain adjustments to their schedule that will allow the individual the opportunity to continue in a course of study.

Payment is therefore to be made the first week of each month or as designated on the calendar issued to all students. Lessons during the summer months are paid on a weekly basis in consideration of family vacations and such. Please be prompt with the monthly tuition and remember that there is no refund or credit for missed lessons. Many thanks to those families who are always so considerate!

Lessons for the months of July and August are available to all continuing and new students!

Students will be able to perform in three recitals per year!
