T. Hameline, a French Motorcycle Policeman January 2007 Faber-Castell pencils 2B ~ 6B on airmail paper I drew this from a photo in the Los Angeles Times in a letter to my pen-pal, A. D., to test out my new pencils. The black parts in the drawing are shiny and very much like like carbon paper. (It was hard to take a halfway decent photo!) I suppose I should have used better quality paper, but I could still tell that these pencils were marvelous. Lesson learned: Not all pencils are made equal.
