The Upstate Herpetological Association ~Syracuse Chapter holds monthly meetings, typically on the second Saturday of the month, at Beaver Lake Nature Center in Baldwinsville, NY.

Meetings are open and free to the public and are family oriented.

Matt provides a talk and slides on the recent Crocodile Census, reviewing populaitons found in Costa Rica. A presentation not to be missed.

Time: 2:30pm Meeting at the Jordan-Elbridge Community Center, found DIRECTLY on Route 31 in Jordan, across from the Rooterville Diner. See below for specific directions.

January and Febraury UHA Meetings will be held at the Jordan- Elbridge Community Center on Route 31 in Jordan on the first Sunday of the month at 2:30pm.

Directions to Jordan-Elbridge Community Center:

From Hwy 690 East:

Take Exit for Jordan/Baldwinsville Rt 31. Off Ramp, turn left onto Downer Road/ Route 31. Turning left at blinking light, following Route 31 south, then west for approximately 10.5 miles. Pass North Main Street (entrance to the village of Jordan).

Jordan-Elbridge Community Center will be on the right hand side, opposite the sign for the “Rooterville Diner” (restaurant). Click here for approximate map.

From Route 5:

Follow Route 5 into the village of Elbridge. Continue on Route 5 to Stop light at intersection of Route 5 and Hamilton Road. Turn Right onto Hamilton Road toward Jordan. Follow Hamilton to stop sign at Main Street (pass Jordan fire house) At stop sign, turn Left onto Main Street and follow to stop sign – intersection with Route 31. Turn left onto Route 31.

From I 90 East or West:

Take Exit 40 – Weedsport. Coming out of tollbooth, turn right. At stop light/intersection, turn left onto Route 31 East. Follow Route 31 East approximately 5.5 miles.
