About the West Texas Brittany Club for first time visitors:  We are a not-for-profit club for Brittany bird dog enthusiasts dedicated to promoting the Brittany breed.  We currently hold two field trials a year under the rules of the AKC.  If you are not familiar with the term "field trial", more information can be found on this subject at the American Kennel Club's web site.  A good place to start would be on the American Kennel Club's Field Trial Rules and Standard Procedure for Pointing Breeds page.  If you would like some information concerning the general appearance and temperament of the Brittany breed, you may want to visit the American Kennel Club's Brittany Breed Standard page.  The West Texas Brittany Club is based near Brownwood, Texas, and adjacent surrounding areas.
