December 2006 – current: Education Coordinator
Highland Grace House, Community Healthlink, Worcester, MA
As liaison to clients’ schools, responsible for academic
programming and helping residents to meet their academic goals. In addition
to handling administrative tasks associated with clients’ home
schools, runs a guided independent study classroom, assists with GED
studies, and manages an arts-based alternative programming curriculum
during non-school year blocks. Additionally is responsible for meeting
standards of the National School Lunch Program.

responsible for implementing programming for residents on a consistent

September 2004 - February 2006 Administrative Coordinator
First Night Worcester, Worcester, MA
As one of two formal office staff members answering to a Board of
Directors, this is a key organizational position in the planning and
execution of an annual city-wide New Year's Eve arts festival. Duties
include contracting of artists and venues, coordination of over one
hundred volunteers, coordination of large mailings and databases, in-office
cash accounting, and acquiring of permits, as well as general office
tasks.

As the governing body for the Worcester Poetry Slam and Poets' Asylum,
the WP8P runs two weekly readings, has featured over three hundred different
poets from 15 different countries, has fielded a team to the National
Poetry Slam the past nine years, and has helped build a large poetry community
in the Worcester County area.

For HJ Heinz Company, designed and operated a system that coordinated
pickup of freight from eleven warehouses in six states. Duties included
telephone cooperation with warehouse operators, transportation specialists,
freight line dispatchers and drivers; data entry and technical writing

For Ford Motor Company designed and operated a system intended to keep
the Ford, Lorain motor plant incoming freight lot at low-traffic. Duties
included data gathering and entry, mapping and organization, telephone
cooperation with plant staff and freight line dispatchers, use of Ford's
on-line systems, technical writing for logistics manual. (Promotion from

Ongoing participation in various spoken word and music
projects including touring the US with poetry and with bands, and organization
