Duties include contracting of artists and venues, coordination of over one hundred volunteers, coordination of large mailings and databases, in-office cash accounting, and acquiring of permits, as well as general office tasks.

Organized two sold-out benefit performances of The Vagina Monologues in conjunction with the V-Day Worldwide campaign, collecting over $7,000 for women's charities, local and abroad. Responsibilities included coordinating publicity and all press materials, coordinating locations, rehearsals, leading writing groups, and directing actors.

As the governing body for the Worcester Poetry Slam and Poets’ Asylum, the WP8P runs two weekly readings, has featured over three hundred different poets from 15 different countries, has fielded a team to the National Poetry Slam the past nine years, and has helped build a large poetry community in the Worcester County area.

Supported by WPP, the Sunday night reading series boasts an eclectic mix of features and readers, and is the home slam for the Worcester Poetry Slam team. Also supported by WPP, the Monday night series is a forum for up-and-coming poets to share their work in a supportive open mic. The reading series also carried a weekly theme slam and readings from guest authors, as well as the occasional featured reader.

Doublebunny is an independent press that serves the New England area through poetry design, layout, and production of fine books and posters. Doublebunny also supported Omnivore Magazine, a poetry and arts monthly which, during it’s three-year run, published poetry and articles by over 150 authors and carried a national subscription base. In 2003, Doublebunny took its maiden voyage as a recording label with the release of Daily Mouse's CD single Gimpy.

Performance & Publishing

Has presented works as featured performer at such institutions as Worcester State College (MA), Holy Cross University (MA), Clark University (MA), Mt. Ida College (MA), Mt. Adams College (MA), MIT (MA), Durham University (NH), as well as at the Austin International Poetry Festival (TX), the Mandalay Arts Festival (TX), the Rant Festival (KY), and has toured with music and spoken word through the Midwest, Northeast, and Southwest.

Has been published in anthologies Poetry Slam: the Competitive Art of Performance Poetry, and Bottomdog Coffeehouse Poetry Anthology, and will be included in an upcoming anthology of Taos Poetry Circus participants (release, 2001). Has been published as well in periodicals such as The Boston Poet, Pudding House magazine, and Ezz-thetic quarterly. Of note are performance in the 1995 documentary film, Off the Page (for Case Western University, Cleveland, OH), and 1995 appearance on NPR radio for, InfOhio. Has self-published various chapbooks including, Mommydrum, Girlbutcher, All the Missing Things That I Love,and Ark as well as a novella, Grace in the Shadow of the Big Tree. Chrysanthemum is currently being syndicated at GotPoetry.com.
