(May 21, 1987 - December 28, 1996)
Priscilla (Cilla) was born May 21, 1987, in Angeles City, Republic of the Philippines.
Priscilla was part German Shepherd and part Chow. Her main goal in life was to please me and her dad. She probably would have preferred to be an only child, but she got along, for the most part with her sisters.
She loved every human that she came across -- as long as they paid attention to her. She was definitely an outgoing type and loved to be the center of attention. When she felt she wasn't being paid enough attention, she'd nose her way through the crowd of dogs and demand attention.
Other than the fact that she often got cross with her sisters, she was very well-behaved. As I mentioned before, her main goal was to please us and she knew that behaving was the best way to do that.
When Twiggy, Priscilla and I came back from the Philippines (This was before Biker and I married and Teska went with him when we all came back to the US), the three of us used to go to my mother's house every weekend to have a real meal (and for me to do laundry). Cilla was Momma's favorite and Cilla loved every minute of going over there.
The three of us ended up moving away to Oklahoma and moved in with Biker and Tess. Several years later, I finally graduated from college (by now we'd lived in Oklahoma, Colorado, and had ended up in Texas). My mother came to Texas to see me graduate. We wondered if the girls would remember her (Tess hadn't met her before and Shelby wasn't living with us yet). I opened the front door and my mother came up the sidewalk. Cilla took one look, let out a little doggie scream and went barrelling out the door to greet my mother. She knew in an instant that was her grandmother! We were all amazed. We knew that they would remember her, but not instantly like that. Priscilla was SOOOO excited to see her.
Priscilla developed a tumor in her stomach and the cancer had spread throughout her body. We sent her to doggie heaven on December 28, 1996.
