Roadsides and
Waste Places

a nature photography site

Tom Whelan

Many of the photographs at this site were taken at the side of the road, under power lines, in untended fields, all places where there is a diversity of plants. The site title is taken from a field guide catch phrase for this kind of habitat: roadsides and waste places. Other pictures were taken at gardens, wildflower arboretums, and butterfly conservatories.
