Smaller groups participated in two other trips down the east coast beyond Pattaya to Rayong and to Trad, near the Cambodian border. These were primarily spearfishing excursions, and both resulted in plentiful catches.
On three occasions our chairman invited all interested members to join him aboard his 72-foot Diesel yacht, "Marga Henn". These trips were a different matter altogether from the usual Pattaya weekend. Boarding the yacht at Paknam, near the river mouth, the party would spend a leisurely
