TWESO'S DISC GOLF PAGE

Welcome to my disc golf page on the World Wide Web! Thanks for stopping by. You'll find lots of facts about the wonderful sport of disc golf here. I've also included links to some of my favorite disc golf sites. Feel free to browse around, and enjoy your visit!

There are two main types of discs: drivers and putters. A putter is used for getting the disc in the basket. Putters are used rather than drivers because they are more accurate than drivers, but go a shorter distance. They have a resonably flat edge, while a drivers' is more angled. Drivers also generally curve more to the left, because they are meant more for distance than accuracy.

There are disc golf courses all over the world. The most famous of these is in my hometown of Santa Cruz, CA. The first permanent course was built by the man who gave birth (eew!) to the sport, "Steady" Ed Headrick, and is in Pasadena California.
