The Tuskegee Airmen Wives Tell Their Stories oral history project was developed in close cooperation with the Tuskegee Airmen Wives Auxiliary of the East Coast Chapter of Tuskegee Airmen, Inc. The stories of fifty-nine women have been recorded on audiotape, including present wives, widows, and former wives; wives of enlisted men and of officers; wives of ground crews, administrative personnel, pilots, and flight crews.
