When I began research on my Great Great Great Grandfather, Rody Daffron's family several years ago, I ran into different spellings of the name Daffron along with the name Daffin and Dafforn.

In the summer of 2004 I began collecting as many references as possible and putting them into a data base that  could be sorted by date, name, county, or state.  This has allowed me to see which families are in a certain county or state in a given year.

I have included on this website some of my data from 1600 to 1799, although not the source or actual data file itself.  I hope to add additional information as I find it.  Especially to the "after 1800" section.

I need to give credit to others who contributed with information and support.  They are Susan H. Burns, Martha Daffron Crowhorn and Richard Largaespada. Also Terrell Dean Daffron and Rick Daffron for their research on the John Daffron and Sarah Avery family.

If you would like additional information on any of the listings, please contact me by using the contact page.  I'll get back to you as soon as possible.

Caution: Make sure you research any information you get off of  the web.  I recently found that someone had taken my whole family photo page and posted it on their site including my text, word for word.  My family photos are of the Rody Daffron descendants, not the John  Daffron line that his wife's family comes from.  He did not do his research before posting this information.   So be careful what you copy and paste onto your website without researching your information like him.  It might be misleading.

If you use my information, please have the respect and honor to credit us for our work.  I created this site to share and if you would like to use my photos or research please contact me or link to my site.

This was sent to me recently, and I said I would share on my site for him:
