ANNUAL BRIGADE DINING OUT HELD AT LIMESTONE'S RESTAURANT
The Turner Brigade held its annual Dining Out on Saturday evening, February 3, 2001, at the Limestone's restaurant at the Crystal Springs Quarry Golf Club in Maryland Heights, MO. Hosted by Capt. Dr. and Mrs. Richard Triplett, about 70 Brigade members and guests dined from a sumptuous buffet including beef, pork, chicken, seafood, and delicious side dishes.
After welcoming remarks by Brigade Adjutant Capt. Walt Larson, the guests raised their glasses in toasts to President Lincoln, to General Grant, and finally to our gracious hosts for the evening.
As is the custom at the Brigade Dining Out, the evening was concluded with a presentation by the host. Capt. Dr. Triplett presented a magic lantern show describing the organization and activities of the Medical Corps of the Union Army during the war.

Capt. Emmett Taylor and members of the 5th Missouri Volunteer Cavalry joined the Brigade for the evening.
