ME
WHO AM I?
I am a 35 year old male who lives in Lynnwood, Washington. I am 6'4" and weigh 195
pounds. My hair is brown and my eyes are hazel.
WHAT ARE MY HOBBIES?
I enjoy photography, computers, reading, cooking, camping, hiking, scuba diving, flying, skiing
(both downhill and cross-country), snow-shoeing, traveling, kayaking, and
fishing.
I have been a certified scuba diver for 10 years and licensed private pilot for 11 years.
I have traveled quite a bit. I have been to 49 of the 50 states. I have also been to Magadan in the Russian Far East, Japan, Honduras, Bonaire, Mexico, Canada, Italy, Germany and Amsterdam.
WHAT THINGS I LIKE
My hobbies (as noted above), romance, great
conversation, lively debates, theater, eating good food, wine, tattoos, some piercing,
music (different types depending on the mood I am in), animals,
people watching, jokes, art, warm clothes on a cold winter day, candles, watching movies,
and creating things.
I also love DVD movies; a great and very versatile format. I have a 60" TV with surrond sound. I currently have over 450 movies in my DVD collection.
Special mention also goes to my favorite money, the $2 bill, the Sacagawea dollar, and the Susan B. Anthony dollar. When I go to the bank, I usually request a few. When I use them to buy things, people are really surprised to see them. Most people think that they are not even in circulation any more, except the Sacagawea of course.
MUSIC
I enjoy most music, except Rap. I tend to enjoy more mellow stuff. Kitaro, Celtic
music, Massive Attack, Coldplay, B-Tribe, Dead Can Dance, Rusted Root, and Sting are
some of my favorites. At times I really like hard house.
WHAT THINGS I DISLIKE
I don't watch TV. Mainly because of the
commercials and also because it is too easy to waste a day in front of it. For some
reason, it seems that the channel buttons work much easier than the off button on the
remote. I also hate dirty/messy things such as cigarette butts and trash in the streets
and parks. Inconsiderate people who don't use turn signals are towards the top of the list
as well.
I hate email abuse. I use email very extensively to keep in touch with family and friends all around the world. I receive hundreds of emails a month and all too often people send me good luck angels, totems, etc... PLEASE STOP! The bandwidth on the Internet has better things to do than transport that type of stuff (crap). I also hate when people forward a message that has been forwarded a thousand times before and the email addresses and names of all of the previous recipients are on the message. If you forward me a frivolous message, please cut and paste so it at least looks like you did it. Thanks. ( I do admit that I like when people send me good jokes.)
