Comments We Have Heard or Overheard or Wish We Never Heard . . .
 
"You must have a lot of patience."
 
Child saw eggs and asked "Are those real?" and before we could respond the mother pulled him away and said "No, they're plastic, come on."
 
"You must have a lot of patience."
 
"Anyone can do it."
 
"I could do that if I had time."
 
"You must have a lot of patience."
 
When eating lunch or your hands are full, "Will you demonstrate for my child?"
 
"Let's go downstairs.  That's where all the good stuff is."
 
"Oh, look, whittlers!
 
"What kind of eggs are these?  Are they those Russian eggs?
 
"You must not have as much housework as I do."
 
"You must have a lot of patience."
 
"Can you show us how to do that?  We have a couple of minutes."
 
From a child viewing egg ornaments on a t-shaped jewelry display, "Wow, eggs on a cross!"
 
When doing a demonstration, "Are these free samples?  Do we get any?"
 
"You want how much for that?!"
 
"How many times have you cut yourself?"
