Finally!! Someone has investigated the law enforcement debacle at Columbine; subtext: how two dead kids held off the forces of law and order, 1000 strong, for 3 hours. While innocent people bled to death. Purportedly because the dead miscreants had "superior firepower."

If only one teacher had had a gun -- which they legally can't -- highest probability is it would have ended early, with minimal loss of life. Or if even one of the cops had any balls -- enough to investigate the unknown to stop deaths, even in the face of an assumed policy. Or if the police had never showed up and let the (armed) parents go in.

Then there're the parents who first knew positively of their son's death when they saw a picture of him, sprawled bloody on the sidewalk, in the newspaper THE NEXT DAY! Jeez, but I can't go on.

Ed Bradley ate the official spokesmen up. [Yeah, it was 60 Minutes, looking to do something useful, reminiscent of their glory days] Officialdom is still confused and bumfuzzled. Parents are irate.

What a joke our system is becoming.
