Founded in 1983, Székely Engineering is a full service firm providing personalized service in Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing, and Fire Protection Engineering.

We provide services ranging from investigation and reports to design and engineering, from project schematics through completion of construction including extensive shop drawing review and supervision of system commissioning. Our familiarity with, and reliance upon, state of the art software (much of which has been developed in-house) provides us with a force multiplier which allows us to provide services to a level which rivals firms orders of magnitude larger than we are.

The speed and agility with which we can therefore produce quality work (especially if you’re accustomed to dealing with larger or rather less modern firms) may at times astound you, particularly when your deadlines are “impossible”.

Thomas Székely is registered in New York and Connecticut, and with the National Council of Examiners for Engineering and Land Surveying, and has over forty years experience in engineering and construction. Prior to the formation of Székely Engineering, he worked for premier commercial consulting engineering firms such as Cosentini and Lehr as a Project Manager, as well as heavy industrial and process construction engineering firms including Bechtel and Lummus as an Electrical Designer.
