Welcome to A Stone's Throw!
My name is Tammy. I live in Upstate, NY, home to 1 Ivy League University and 1 large College
I am currently working at a University Veterinary Teaching Hospital as a Lisenced Veterinary Technician.
I took classes online to get lisenced and it was a wonderful experience.
I've also gone to the dogs, as you will soon see when you start poking around this site. I have 3 dogs currently, 2
Rottweilers and a Standard Schnauzer. Together we train and compete in Obedience, Agility and Carting, and do therapy
work. All 3 dogs are pets and companions first, working dogs second. Later on you'll meet them, Cash (Standard Schnauzer),
Stone(Rottweiler), and our newest addition, Flare (Rottweiler). You'll also meet the dogs of my past, the ones who started
this whole dog odyssey for me, Lakota, Kasha and most recently Twister on the Rainbow Bridge page. all 3 have
gone to the rainbow bridge, but not before departing a world of knowledge and all their unconditional love to me.

I do custom embroidery and quilting, and have done large projects for individuals as well as the Dogue de Bordeaux Society
National Specialty. You'll find the details of that work on the embroidery and quilting pages to come. I hope you
