History of Camp Blanding

At the age of 36, Joseph Sini was called to serve his country.  He was inducted March 28, 1944 as a Private at Ft. Devens, Massachuetts.  And arrived at Camp Blanding April 10th, where he received Basic Training and special training as an Anti-Tank Gunner.   He was qaulified as a 2nd Class Gunner on a 57mm Anti-Tank Gun and a Marksman with an M1 Rifle.  He finished his training August 5, 1944.
