The Salvation Army is concerned about the total make up of a man, woman, and child. Therefore, the Service and Worship Center of the Salvation Army offers programs, classes, and fellowship time opportunities to support body, soul, and spirit!

Individuals and families are encouraged to develop a high standard of Christian character, as well as a value system that will help navigate life’s daily responsibilities and find comfort during times of unexpected difficulties. Small informal groups discuss family concerns, health issues, and relevant subjects in a friendly environment. HarvesVview Fellowship is an affiliation of the Salvation Army Social Service Programming and supports the spiritual needs of families and individuals in the community.

Currently, we are exploring the Christian solution to chemical dependency, that is,  “Becoming GOD-Dependent” is emphasized in the “The Most Excellent Way” Recovery Groups. Community members looking for a faith-based support group in their recovery are encouraged to participate in scheduled weekly meetings.

Today in America, roughly two out of every five children are poor or “near poor.” Many of these children live in unsafe housing, often without enough food to eat and without decent clothing. They are far more likely to suffer neglect and abuse. What these children need is hope! For this reason, the Salvation Army offers faith-based programs of intervention and prevention integrated into a community of caring people. Although it is not just for Sunday, “SONday’SCOOL material developed the Salvation Army’s USA Eastern Territory is often used to bring new hope, as well as educational field trips and other programs are utilized. Children are encouraged to build a living relationship with the Lord Jesus, for a life-time of hope!

For more information with regard to small groups, instructional classes, etc. please contact the Salvation Army Service and Worship Center.
