Welcome!
I'm a new attorney who has handled some claims for bodily injuries, some
affronts to personal dignity, and some employment discrimination law on
behalf of the employee. I'm aiming at specializing in medical malpractice
and employment law. The Big Boyz worst nightmare...a janitor with
a law degree! Tall as a twenty-storey building and twice as ugly!
Yeah, right.

More
importantly to me, I'm a philosopher. I studied philosophy at U.C. Berkeley,
but I became disenchanted with the analytic and logical emphasis in that
program. I adore analysis and logic, but these are just tools to be applied
to a real and sloppy world. I have tried to apply these tools to history,
religion, aesthetics (and anaesthetics), psychology, ethical decisions,
and in particular, those situations which appear to be beyond good and
evil. This finally led me (read: "drove me") to a philosophical and comparative
study of laws, behavior of groups, and dispute resolution.
