OBJECTIVE

I have been working during the past six years in two small but effective plaintiff's law firms, researching, drafting, and preparing various legal documents from initial demand letters to appeals and petitions for writ and for review. The emphasis in both of those firms was personal injury, but I have also worked on cases involving civil rights, employment discrimination, defamation and trade libel cases, anti-SLAPP motions, mass toxic torts, fraud, consumer protection (CLRA) cases, and real estate disclosures. I have experience in both the California and Federal court systems.

During my brief foray into litigation, I found that my strengths and interests are in the gathering of facts and legal authority and preparing an objective summation. I am highly proficient at Internet research and current office applications on a variety of operating systems. I am currently enrolled in night and evening courses studying networks, computer architecture, UNIX/LINUX operating systems, and web programming. In the near future, I expect to be working on creative solutions for the legal profession using information technology. I also hope to become knowledgeable with the encroachment of future technologies on traditional rights.
