The Panthers finished their pre-league season with an excellent 9-2 record, one of their best results in years. Along the
way, they defeated nearby rivals Lynbrook, Monta Vista, Saratoga, and Cupertino high schools.
The highlight of the early season was winning the Prospect Frosh/Soph Classic tournament. The final saw Prospect overwhelm
tough Mount Hamilton division opponent Leigh high school by a convincing 18 point margin. A very strong inside game combined
with tenacious defense proved to be the Panthers recipe for success.
