It should be noted that the "trip report" in "Paths of Decision" was "written" by a David Johnson that "lives" on TrolleyWorld. There, that world's equivalent of "Point Of Divergence" is called "Paths of Decision" and this "report" would have been meant for it. Basically, "Paths" would be an APA on TrolleyWorld dedicated to AH, much as P.O.D. is on this world.

However, the above isn't really true AH. Oh, I class my "TrolleyWorld" scenario as true AH...

...and this is technically set in TrolleyWorld, but...

1) You know how I feel about using "real" people from one world on another, centuries after the split - well here I am doing it, big time. That alone would put it in the "AH-Lite" category to me. Paths of Decision

2) The paper version that ran through Point of Divergence couldn't exist. No PC's or word processing software, and nary a laser printer in sight (no Xerox machines either)

3) TrolleyWorld doesn't have the equivalent of the Internet or the World Wide Web, so the e-zine version couldn't exist either.

4) Ditto on the pictures - for either version: No graphics software on TW!

At best - even assuming the existence of APA's, AH-fans, and a David Johnson on TW, the "trip report" would only be a mimeo'd copy of typewritten pages, with maybe some line drawings hand-drawn in. Only as far as the content is what you saw true to the TrolleyWorld scenario...

...But it was fun to do anyway.
