Shhhh! Don't tell anybody. But here's my zine for Point of Divergence 80 before it's even out in papery form...
July 24, 2014
15:45 pdt
Added some maps for Pasadena-D: Pasadena railroad maps over time, the city of Furusato, and San Pedro Bay.

And here's the cover for POD 79!
June 2, 2014
114:30 pdt
Lethargo-man finally updates his website, six months later...but just with two (yep, that's how long it's been) POD zines - Number 78 and Number 79.
December 18, 2013
09:00 pst
Since I put the cover up for it, here's POD 77 itself in all its glory...
December 2, 2013
17:30 pst
The mysteries of the "Great Baltimore Space Timeline" begin to clear, with four pages: Robert Condit, First Man in Space, him again in Rocket to Venus, 1928, then two "Encyclopedia Astronautica" entries (at least, two entries from that world), Aphrodite, LV-1C and MBV-01. Enjoy, for more will follow!
November 28, 2013
20:00 pst
Covers for POD 75 and POD 77 are now available for your perusal...and only a day after my last update too!
November 27, 2013
19:00 pst
And you though my absense the last time was long!

Almost exactly a year later and I'm finally doing some updates. Some of this long, long delay was due to being lazy. Other bits were me toying around with doing the whole site over (again) in a new format...toyings that didn't go anywhere (at least yet). Some was simply not feeling I had anything worth uploading. But no matter how you explain it, it was a long time between updates.

So I'm going to start off with not one, not two, not three, but four "Points of Divergences" – numbers 73-76. Still somewhat lazy, I'm trying doing them as simple pdfs, rather than my old technique of converting the odt file into html (and doing a lot of technical, jiggery-pokery to it). If nothing else, this means I only have to work on/upload one file, instead of potentially dozens (when you add in the footnote files & picture files).

Then I'm going to give you the completed short story "ROC and the Sea," last seen as separate parts in now deleted PODs. It's set in the TrolleyWorld timeline, but don't let that put you off. And finally we get a magazine "reprint" from an ATL where Disneyland failed and closed in 2005. It's loosely based on an April Fools blog entry by Dan D. Sparks, but I took it a lot further.

And finally you'll note that the "Text" page is somewhat rearranged. One new grouping is the "Pasadena-D" one, which is obvious as there's getting to be quite a few entries in that and there will be more to come in the future. The other is the mysterious "Great Baltimore Space Timeline" group, which is currently quite empty. What will it be? What will appear there? You'll find out...and hopefully much, much sooner than a year from now...

POD 72 is up and ready to read. Find out what that cover was all about! Now I just gotta do POD 73...
November 7, 2012
16:15 pst
The cover for POD 72 is up and it's all pulpy!
August 15, 2012
16:35 pdt
I've been a bad webmaster, not updating for months and months...okay, four months. So with this update, you get not one, not two, but three POD zines – 69, 70 & 71 – another POD cover – for POD 70 – and a map of TrolleyWorld's Santa Barbara! and pamphlet for San Miguel Island.

There. That should keep you busy!
April 16th, 2012
15:55 pdt
The cover for POD 69 is up. Lunchtime in Furusato on Pasadena-D
March 20, 2012
14:45 pdt
Well, it should have been up a couple of months ago, but my zine for Point of Divergence #68 is finally online! Mind you, my zine for #69 should be online now too, but...
March 19th, 2012
18:45 pdt
Major updates/additions to my survivaraptor scenario.
March 13, 2012
14:55 pdt
Some information on Pasadena-D's Terminal Island Trolley Company, which, amazingly, actually isn't about trolleys!
February 3rd, 2012
17:00 pst
Shocked out of complacency by a post by Dale Cozort, I realized I hadn't done a link check in...well, too long. Amazingly, 90% of my links were still okay, but it took a bit to fix that 10%.

And while I was at it, I went and made a site map for the site - its first ever! Made me notice I had a few page headers wrong, so I fixed those too.
January 24th, 2012
12:45 pst
Made some changes and quite a few additions (mostly as footnotes) to the Pasadena-D timeline. There's even some graphics in the new footnotes.
November 2nd, 2011
11:40 pdt
POD is out in paper, so so is POD 67 in electrons.
July 19th, 2011
16:00 pdt
And be equally quiet about my zine for POD 66, Because it still isn't out in it's papery form. Also added the advertising pamphlet for Pasadena-D's "Camp Huntington."
July 1st, 2011
23:50 pdt
*SHHHH!* Don't tell anybody, but I've posted the cover to POD 66 before it's even printed, let alone before POD 66 is distributed.
July 1st, 2011
09:45 pdt
Made some changes/additions/corrections to the Pasadena-D timeline. Most were simply cosmetic, but there's some new stuff as well.
June 15th, 2011
19:20 pdt
More "Pasadena-D" stuff, this time, transportation maps for the LA area.
June 14th, 2011
17:45 pdt
And with Hold It #65 online, I'm all caught up with my "regulars."
June 13th, 2011
22:50 pdt
Now here's the cover for POD #64.
June 12th, 2011
18:00 pdt
I've posted the history of the "Pasadena-D" timeline's "Los Angeles & Pacific railroad".
June 9th, 2011
19:20 pdt
And then there's a four month wait for Hold It #64. A wait so long, I've also got 65 coming soon, to say nothing of a cover (assuming I actually do stuff rather than "Angry Birds...").
February 2nd, 2011
19:00 pst
Only a month and a half's wait this time: Hold It #63 is on the air!
November 7th, 2010
04:30 pst
Well, POD people have had the paper version for a couple of months now...so it's time for the online version of POD 62!
July 21st, 2010
17:00 pdt
A smidge over two weeks later, Hold It #61 hits the electronic stands!
July 6th, 2010
07:30 pdt
I was looking at some of my maps here and realized that while I'd updated almost all my TrolleyWorld maps to nice and fancy, my Republic of California map – ironically, given my focus – was so old and decrepit that it had been made on a Paint program! Oh, and you couldn't actually read anything on it.

It's better now...
July 4th, 2010
14:00 pdt
And here is Hold It #60, as promised. Also, I did the "60 Quotes" – which is one quote from every issue of Point of Divergence since it began – and an attempt at a timeline/etc for the world in my "Blue Flash" story.

Now, for Hold It #61...
July 1st, 2010
13:30 pdt
Finally uploaded the covers (front and back) I did for Point of Divergence 60. With luck, soon I'll actually upload the zine as well!
April 8th, 2010
14:00 pst
Oops! Forgot to post Point of Divergence 59 – and it's almost time for the big 60!
January 20th, 2010
18:00 pst
First update of the year, and it's with Point of Divergence 58
November 19th, 2009
16:30 pst
In case you can't tell, I got bored with my previous design – heck, it's been green on (near) black for twelve, thirteen years now – so I redid the css and some of the graphics (then spent a heck of a lot of time fixing things)...just for fun.
September 16th, 2009
21:30 pdt
Here we go – Point of Divergence 57 is in the mail, so POD 57, the online version is now up!
August 7th, 2009
16:30 pdt
Right after I fixed up POD 55, I got right to work doing POD 56. Finished it – and the cover for 56 as well – then promptly forgot to upload it...

...for a month and a half.

I'll blame being busy with my blog and my Facebook page...yeah, that's the ticket...
June 11th, 2009
14:30 pdt
Spent an hour or so tweaking some links for POD 55 – and realized (what, again?) that I'd forgotten to mention I'd also uploaded the story that went with it. Called Blue Flash (for no particular reason), it's actually just a story fragment that I have no clue what to do with...or where it's going...or even – in a broad sense – what's going on...

...so putting it here seems ideal. If you have any clue what it's about, let me know.
June 10th, 2009
19:30 pdt
Finished up my paper zine for POD 56...and discovered I hadn't webified the one for POD 55 yet. Oops! It's up now.
January 21st, 2009
16:00 pst
Made some tweaky changes to TrolleyWorld's History Lesson 01, some larger than tweaky to The Republic of California Timeline and RoC Overview, major ones to The Birth of the RoC, and added a whole new page on the Mexican Empire's Emperors.
January 15th, 2009
15:00 pst
Added a couple of book reviews and fiddled with several others. I promise to try and do more – and more often – than I've been doing (which has been "none" and "never" to be blunt).
January 12th, 2009
17:00 pst
Followed four days later by my zine for POD 54 itself!
January 8th, 2009
12:15 pst
And even before the disty itself comes out, here's the cover for POD 54!
December 9th, 2008
20:05 pst
The cover for POD 53 is now up...allowing it to stumble about with my zine for 53.

And – just to annoy everyone – I now have a blog page! Let's see how long this will last...
December 4th, 2008
18:10 pst
Well, it's been a long time coming (I did my first tentative doodles of it in 1994!), but it's finally here – TrolleyWorld The Whole Darn World.

Oh, the individual parts of it have existed for quite a while (North America and Africa first, followed by Europe, South America, and finally Asia these last few years), but I could never quite get them all to match up together as a world map. Mostly because they were all originally drawn on different format maps (some of those "formats" being hand drawn on paper, and others being really old Word Perfect "wpg" files that were barely big enough to have legible names).

But time marches on and I've been redrawing them during that march on larger formats, using nicely downloaded topo maps as the bases. So while doing my latest fiddles to the Asia map I found I had to match it to the European one in order to get the western countries right. That was a bit of a struggle, as the two used – as they all did once – differently formatted maps. But after finally getting them together into a "Eurasia" map (that I could then pull off the new version of the Asian map from) I discovered that – hey – all my maps were now in the same type of format (if in different scales).

So I downloaded a really big topo maps of the whole world (in that same format – Thank You NASA!), then started playing "put together the puzzle." And soon (ish), I had my whole world map of TrolleyWorld

Oh, I ended up making a couple of changes to the North America map as well...
December 2nd, 2008
21:05 pst
TrolleyWorld Asia is now slightly less in progress than it was, as I've cut down the number of, well, numbered nations to just six.

While doing so, I discovered that I had badly screwed up some of the west side of the map, where it overlaps my European maps. This is hardly suprising as almost all my maps are different formats and scales, but with a bit of work I fixed it up and now "Nenets" and "Komi" now show up (along with modifications to "British Russia").

Still hoping to fill in those last six, so if you have some suggestions, let me know...
November 24th, 2008
17:45 pst
Hold It, Evil Thought reaches issue Number 53 is up and stumbling about. And I've even spent some time lately fixing links and whatnot...
September 14th, 2008
16:00 pdt
The cover for POD 52 has been posted!
August 26th, 2008
11:00 pdt
Changes to Thoughts and to my Post-Iraq timeline. Minor ones, to be sure, but...
August 7th, 2008
21:00 pdt
And keeping a theme going, here's Hold It, Evil Thought Number 52!
July 3rd, 2008
21:00 pdt
Hold It, Evil Thought reaches issue Number 51!
April 30th, 2008
20:30 pst
A couple of little tweaky changes to my TrolleyWorld Africa and TrolleyWorld Asia maps. A cookie for people who spot the changes...;)
April 8th, 2008
11:30 pst
Much to my surprise, Point of Divergence hits issue Number 50! Huzzah! And the cover for 50 is up too.
April 4th, 2008
21:15 pst
February 20th, 2008
20:25 pst
Started making a list of people who – for the good of everyone – shouldn't be voting and have put them on my Thoughts Page. And as I find more classes of people who shouldn't vote...I'll add them.
January 23rd, 2008
16:45 pst
I've actually had this sitting around for quite some time – waiting to see if I could figure out the rest of the country names – but since that's obviously not happening any time soon, here's a map of TrolleyWorld Asia. And, yes, I'd appreciate any suggestions for names for those countries who are just numbers right now...
January 16th, 2008
15:30 pst
And one day later, the cover for Number 49 appears. Complete with long-winded explanation of what silliness you're seeing!
January 15th, 2008
17:30 pst
Another year, another POD – Number 49 this time. Regularity is continued!
November 1st, 2007
18:30 pst
Yet another POD zine posted – Number 48. Gee, we're actually getting these things out regularly now!
August 15th, 2007
18:30 pdt
My latest POD zine is up – Number 47. Also, the cover for 42 that got bumped to 43 and then not used then either, has finally been used for 47.
June 28th, 2007
17:30 pdt
Point of Divergence Number 46 arrived at my house, so the web version of my zine arrives at this site. Actually, the Alweg-L.A. mentioned below was part of it, but it took a bit to finish up converting the actual comments part of the zine.
June 19th, 2007
07:50 pdt
It's been a while, but I've finally come up with a new AH scenario: Alweg-L.A., where Los Angeles actually accepts Alweg's offer to build a monorail system for the city.
June 3rd, 2007
08:30 pdt
An update to my thoughts page. Well, there'd been a couple before this...but I forgot to mention it.

Visit Evil Bible.comespecially if you still believe in god.
March 13th, 2007
14:00 pdt
Now, with the early coming of Daylight Savings, POD 45 arrives in a puff of apa-dust and mis-set clocks!
January 18th, 2007
17:30 pst
First my zine for POD 44 is up, now so is the cover.
December 21st, 2006
18:00 pst
And just a bit over a month later, POD 44 magically appears! It looks like Point of Divergence is back on track – next collation is at the end of February.
November 14th, 2006
18:00 pst
Just when you thought it would never happen, POD 43 rears it's ugly head!
October 24th, 2006
18:45 pst
Wow! I'm getting a lot faster. Only two weeks later and it's Day Four of "The Trip with Many Pauses." The Catalina portion of our tour is now complete – can I finish by next month?
October 11th, 2006
19:00 pst
Another month, another day. Day Three of "The Trip with Many Pauses" is now up. So, finished by December?
September 25th, 2006
21:00 pst
For those keeping track, it's been a mere two months and already I've posted day two of "The Trip with Many Pauses."

At this rate, I should be done with this report right before the next trip.
July 13th, 2006
22:00 pdt
Months after my last update – and almost as many months after the event – I've started doing my 2006 Road Trip Report, "The Trip with Many Pauses."

Only day one so far, but that just means only five more days to go...
February 5th, 2006
20:00 pst
Short – but incendiary – update to my thoughts page.

And – yes – it's deliberately incendiary...because I hate stupid and feel no need to be "understanding" about its practitioners...
August 28th, 2005
22:00 pdt
My "Lowe Airship Construction Corp" scenario was always meant to be formated as a pamphlet – in theory, produced on that world. And now it is...

There's a handful of tweaks and changes in it as well as the spiffy new formating into a pdf-pamphlet.
July 27th, 2005
20:00 pdt
Another day, another chunk of TrolleyWorld, South America this time.
July 26th, 2005
18:00 pdt
And to go with the large map of TW North America, here's one of TrolleyWorld Europe in 2000. Only 1800 pixels wide this time.
July 25th, 2005
18:45 pdt
Added a very large map of TrolleyWorld North America with part of South America. Very large – 2400 pixels wide!
July 21st, 2005
13:30 pdt
Just because I was bored, I redid some of the graphics for the site (buttons, headers, that kinda thing. I also tweaked my Nova Albion scenario a tad – mostly, to fix the really embarrassing gramatical stupidities.
June 27th, 2005
15:15 pdt
Two new book reviews in the Review Section"The Rivers of War" and "The Seven Hills".
June 20th, 2005
16:45 pdt
A new picture from Trolleyworld: Shortcut Ridge Station at dawn.
May 31st, 2005
19:30 pdt
A letter – and my comments about it – on my Post-Iraq timeline. Hey, someone actually is reading this stuff!
May 5th, 2005
17:00 pdt
And now, it is quite finished. All of RoadTrip 2005 is finally up for your enjoyment.
April 26th, 2005
15:30 pdt
Well, it's not quite finished yet (three days worth to still write), but RoadTrip 2005 is up for your enjoyment.
March 1th, 2005
18:30 pst
The section one cover for 42 got bumped to 43 and I then had the time to do a cover for section two as well.
January 31st, 2005
13:25 pst
Well, here's the cover I've done for POD 42. Now my zine for it it up, the cover's up, all I need is to actually get the new disty for it...;)
January 10th, 2005
17:05 pst
It's been a long time since the last issue, but my zine for Point of Divergence 42 is now up. Hopefully, we'll get back a little closer to every two months rather than twice a year...
November 3rd, 2004
12:30 pst
An update to my Post-Iraq Predictions: One hit and one miss...and the world would be a better place if those two had reversed...
September 30th 2004
17:00 pdt
Continuing my search for old stuff to toss at you, here's a book review that I partially wrote almost five years ago. First Dawn – and indeed, the series it starts – annoyed me so much I just could never work my way up to finishing it. But I finally have – and Mike Moscoe might not be happy about that...
September 28th 2004
20:00 pdt
Everything old is new again. An AH scenario I ran through Point of Divergence almost six years ago has been discovered, cleaned up, and finally posted for the world to see and marvel at. Nova Albion lives!
August 23rd 2004
16:40 pdt
Holy Spit, Batman! I actually finished my trip report in under six-months! Page Six, the last page for 2004, is now up. Is finishing chapter 13 of his book next?
August 19th 2004
17:30 pdt
Wow! "Soon" is the next day! Page five is now up. Can he finish Day Six before the end of the year...?
August 18th 2004
20:25 pdt
Page four of my trip report is now up – with five soon(ish) to follow! Heck, I might even get this one done before the next trip this time...
August 5th 2004
12:15 pdt
Well, my zine for Point of Divergence 41 is now up. And I've got the first three of six Trip Report 2004 pages up – the rest coming at an alarmingly slow pace. Enjoy
June 2nd 2004
13:45 pdt
Gosharooty! I have finally finished my 2002 Trip Report with the endlessly awaited completion of Day Five. Hope it was worth the wait – and my list of "Things to Write" is now one shorter...
June 1st, 2004
16:25 pdt
Okay, two down off that list below, 'cause here's my latest zine for Point of Divergence: Hold It, Evil Thought #40 along with my notes on TrolleyWorld Government.
May 27th, 2004
16:55 pdt
Now, two months later, I post the cover I did for POD 39. And, with luck, I'll have my zine for 40 up any day now (and my 2004 trip report...and the last page of my 2002 trip report...and some stuff on TrolleyWorld governments...and...
March 15th, 2004
22:55 pst
And only a couple of weeks after (finally) posting my previous zine for Point of Divergence, here is my latest zine for POD #39!
February 26th, 2004
21:30 pst
More updates to my Post-Iraq Predictions and I suddenly realized that I hadn't posted my latest zine for Point of Divergence #38 – which, since I finished two months ago and – in fact – have already almost finished the next one, is being rather lazy.
November 19th, 2003
16:00 pst
Some updates to my Post-Iraq Predictions. So far, I'm two hits and one miss.
October 20th, 2003
18:30 pst
Well, to go along with the covers I uploaded on the 10th (see below), Point of Divergence #37 is now on the air.
October 10th, 2003
12:00 pst
And again it's been quite a while – but here I am with an update. I added the covers for the upcoming POD Zine, number Thirty-Seven. Hope you like them.
July 30th, 2003
19:15 pdt
Well, it's been a bit between updates. Mostly, I've just fiddled about, doing minor editing changes, but I've also added the Rail Schematic of the Angeles Basin map – which is quite big, BTW – showing the rail lines in Trolley World's Los Angeles Basin.
April 24th, 2003
19:45 pdt
Added another map – this time showing the whole island – to my "Modern maps of the Isle of California" along with a smaller version of it on the main "Isle of California" page.
April 23rd, 2003
14:00 pdt
Added an article to my rant on The Origin of Gullibility, Religion, and Other Insanities. It's at the bottom.
April 21st, 2003
21:30 pdt
Kinda zoned for a while after I finished writing this, but here's my zine for Point of Divergence #36.
April 2nd, 2003
18:30 pst
It's on everyone's mind – is this a good war in Iraq or not? Being me, I did a timeline of what I think is likely to happen in the next five or so years. I'd say "enjoy" – but if I'm right, you probably won't...
March 12th, 2003
20:45 pst
March 6th, 2003
21:30 pst
Made some small changes – including adding a couple of pictures – to my Isle of California timeline, and the related Tejon Straits Camping Trip.
January 23nd, 2003
20:10 pst
Well, my latest POD Zine, Number Thirty-Five, is up, as are the covers for it. Read, view, comment, enjoy!
January 22nd, 2003
19:00 pst
It's been a while, but I finally did four new "Trolleyworld" Images. The "photo" Wires, another Azteca Advertisement, and two company logos.
November 12th, 2002
14:00 pst
Covers for POD Thirty-Four are now up.
November 5th, 2002
19:40 pdt
Went through and updated/checked my Links page.
September 19th, 2002
21:05 pdt
My zine, "Hold it, Evil Thought #34" is, as promised below, now up...though "Day Five" still remains elusive...
September 10th, 2002
20:00 pdt
Okay, I'll be the first to admit it's been a while between updates (though I have been doing formating updates the last couple of months).

First of all, noticed that while I had a link to a page of notes on my "Trip Report from TrolleyWorld" page, I lacked the page itself. That's now fixed.

Secondly, I've added a biological What If that I'd done many a POD ago (number 21, in fact) and which had since fallen off the back of POD rotation. It's on a dinosaur survival in Australia and it's kinda neat.

Both my latest POD zine – Number 34 – and the long awaited "Day Five" of this year's trip report will be up soon, honest...
June 20th, 2002
18:00 pdt
Did a fun little timeline on a world where Lake Cahuilla did not dry up in 1700 and remained into the present day – and, no, this is not the same as the "Widney Sea" POD.

Also, my zine, "Hold it, Evil Thought #33" is up – yes, it's been a while, but then, it's been a while for the paper version too...
June 13th, 2002
20:30 pdt
Finished Day Six of my trip report – only Day Five to go!.
May 16th, 2002
21:30 pdt
Well, I'm doing rather better on my annual trip report this time around – less than two months later and I've already done all but days five and six. Wanna check out what's there so far? Go to "Thattaway:" The Sixth Annual Roadtrip and enjoy.

Quick note: Haven't developed the roll for days seven and eight yet, so the pictures there are a bit sparse. Also, formatting works best at 1024x768.
