The famous scripture that all those good people that go to "church" every Sunday, like to quote: "Don't forsake the assembling of yourselves together as the manner of some is". Does this mean I can pick among the hundreds of churches and go there? That makes God happy? How about a Mormon church, perhaps a Unification church? Any place that you have people gathering where they claim to believe the bible, fulfills this most important biblical command, right? And then you might respond to me and say NO!, I mean a bible believing church! And then I will answer you, "find me one within 50 miles, and I will go there!" And guess what? YOU CANNOT!!

Do you know that the number twelve, is an important number in scripture, it speaks of the government of God. The twelve apostles is only one example of this, there are many. One of the twelves is found in the twelfth chapter of Hebrews. The following phrase is used:

To the general assembly and church of the firstborn, which are written in heaven, and to God the Judge of all, and to the spirits of just men made perfect,

It is obvious to me that this verse makes it very clear which assembly the writer of Hebrews is addressing. He is only speaking to the assembly and church of the firstborn, the church started by Jesus and his apostles. He is not talking to others who have sought to assume this position, but have failed in producing the fruit and demonstrating themselves to be that city set on a hill, equivalent with, and related to, the new testament church, the church of the firstborn. People that go to church, which receive their belonging and esteem from doing what everyone else is doing, and have confidence that they are right with God and doing his will, are greatly in error! When did Jesus say "if everyone is doing it, it must be right?" I believe Jesus taught quite the opposite. Christians are commanded by Jesus to come out and be separate and not to conform to the world or the religious systems of the world.

Can you prove that your church is in direct relation to and a part of "The Church of the Firstborn"? If you can, you know something I don't! I sure would like to hear the evidence! For now I would like to present the evidence that refutes such a claim. Your building, and the people that regularly attend the religious structured meetings in it, does not represent the church, certianly not The Church of the Firstborn!

Let's start off with another twelve, Romans 12. And let's analyze it verse at a time and see what we can glean from it.

Romans 12:2 And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.

comment: Just ask anyone in the world and they will tell you that true Christians go to state licensed churches. It is absurd to a worldly man to approach religion any other way. The world always puts it's stamp of credibility on the organization, the bigger the better. Never do they put any stock in any one individual. Have you noticed that Hollywood never gives any credibility to any Christian church but the Catholic church. To Hollywood, Christianity is Catholicism. The world wide organization that is the biggest in the world's eyes, has more credibility. So people that insist that you must be a member of a large organization and attend it's meetings, to please God, are conforming to the world, that is where this ideology comes from!

Read Romans 12:2 very carefully. Do not conform to the world, but become a new person by renewing your mind, that you might prove what is good and acceptable, and the perfect will of God. Do you want to know what is God's will? You are not going to know his will unless you refuse to conform to the world! Can you prove what is good and acceptable to God? Or are you just doing what feels right and good?

Romans 12:3 For I say, through the grace given unto me, to every man that is among you, not to think of himself more highly than he ought to think; but to think soberly, according as God hath dealt to every man the measure of faith.

comment: Organized or denominational Christianity is chief at disobeying this scripture. It is common for an individual or a group of individuals, to consider themselves above everyone else, more holy than the others and this individual or group becomes the overwhelming dominant force in these churches, causing all others to sit quietly as they ramble on, week after week. There is no consideration or obedience to this scripture at all! The Pope is King, the Priests and or Pastors are the head of their individual groups. In these churches Jesus is not the head as he was in the new testament church.

Romans 12:4-8 For as we have many members in one body, and all members have not the same office: So we, being many, are one body in Christ, and every one members one of another. Having then gifts differing according to the grace that is given to us, whether prophecy, let us prophesy according to the proportion of faith; Or ministry, let us wait on our ministering: or he that teacheth, on teaching; Or he that exhorteth, on exhortation: he that giveth, let him do it with simplicity; he that ruleth, with diligence; he that sheweth mercy, with cheerfulness.

comment: Here it is, the order of the church of the first born, nothing like we see today. Let me ask you, are you a member? What is your office? Do you too have only one or two offices in your church? The Pastor's office and the Secretary's office? Why doesn't your church that you support obey these scriptures? Look at it closely! One member has the grace to prophecy, another member has the grace to be a minister of the Word, another member has the grace to be a teacher, another member has the grace to exhort the church of the first born, another member has the grace to give, another member has the grace to rule or oversee the functions of the church, another member has the grace to shew mercy. Why doesn't your church operate like the church of the first born?

Romans 12:9-21 Let love be without dissimulation. Abhor that which is evil; cleave to that which is good. Be kindly affectioned one to another with brotherly love; in honour preferring one another; Not slothful in business; fervent in spirit; serving the Lord; Rejoicing in hope; patient in tribulation; continuing instant in prayer; Distributing to the necessity of saints; given to hospitality. Bless them which persecute you: bless, and curse not. Rejoice with them that do rejoice, and weep with them that weep. Be of the same mind one toward another. Mind not high things, but condescend to men of low estate. Be not wise in your own conceits. Recompense to no man evil for evil. Provide things honest in the sight of all men. If it be possible, as much as lieth in you, live peaceably with all men. Dearly beloved, avenge not yourselves, but rather give place unto wrath: for it is written, Vengeance is mine; I will repay, saith the Lord. Therefore if thine enemy hunger, feed him; if he thirst, give him drink: for in so doing thou shalt heap coals of fire on his head. Be not overcome of evil, but overcome evil with good.

comment: Since sin abounds today, in what we call the church, the love of many has waxed cold. That is why few to none of the things mentioned in these scriptures happen in today's organized churches. More proof that your building and the people who meet weekly in it is not the church of the firstborn!

I could stop right here, I have the proof I need, I need go no further! Your church does not obey Romans 12, therefore it is not the church of the firstborn. Jesus said to the organized religious leaders of his day, "your father is the devil, for you do the works of your father". If your church was related to the church of the firstborn, it would do the works of the church of the firstborn. But it does not!

How about another twelve to consider? I Corinthians chapter 12:1-30

Now concerning spiritual gifts, brethren, I would not have you ignorant.

(The Church of the firstborn was not ignorant, like the so called churches of today!)

Ye know that ye were Gentiles, carried away unto these dumb idols, even as ye were led. Wherefore I give you to understand, that no man speaking by the Spirit of God calleth Jesus accursed: and that no man can say that Jesus is the Lord, but by the Holy Ghost. Now there are diversities of gifts, but the same Spirit. And there are differences of administrations, but the same Lord. And there are diversities of operations, but it is the same God which worketh all in all.

(In The Church of the Firstborn all have diversities of gifts. Some men are administrators, some men are in different operations, but in your church everything focuses on one man, the pastor! If you would like to deny this, you are simply a liar. Prove it to me and I will believe it!)

But the manifestation of the Spirit is given to every man to profit withal. For to one is given by the Spirit the word of wisdom; to another the word of knowledge by the same Spirit; To another faith by the same Spirit; to another the gifts of healing by the same Spirit; To another the working of miracles; to another prophecy; to another discerning of spirits; to another divers kinds of tongues; to another the interpretation of tongues: But all these worketh that one and the selfsame Spirit, dividing to every man severally as he will.

(Everyone is gifted and a vital part of the church of the firstborn, lead by the Spirit, with Jesus as the head of the church. At your church the pastor or the elected board members are the head, not Jesus!)

For as the body is one, and hath many members, and all the members of that one body, being many, are one body: so also is Christ. For by one Spirit are we all baptized into one body, whether we be Jews or Gentiles, whether we be bond or free; and have been all made to drink into one Spirit. For the body is not one member, but many. If the foot shall say, Because I am not the hand, I am not of the body; is it therefore not of the body? And if the ear shall say, Because I am not the eye, I am not of the body; is it therefore not of the body? If the whole body were an eye, where were the hearing? If the whole were hearing, where were the smelling? But now hath God set the members every one of them in the body, as it hath pleased him. And if they were all one member, where were the body? But now are they many members, yet but one body. And the eye cannot say unto the hand, I have no need of thee: nor again the head to the feet, I have no need of you. Nay, much more those members of the body, which seem to be more feeble, are necessary: And those members of the body, which we think to be less honourable, upon these we bestow more abundant honour; and our uncomely parts have more abundant comeliness. For our comely parts have no need: but God hath tempered the body together, having given more abundant honour to that part which lacked: That there should be no schism in the body; but that the members should have the same care one for another. And whether one member suffer, all the members suffer with it; or one member be honoured, all the members rejoice with it.

Now ye are the body of Christ, and members in particular. And God hath set some in the church, first apostles, secondarily prophets, thirdly teachers, after that miracles, then gifts of healings, helps, governments, diversities of tongues. Are all apostles? are all prophets? are all teachers? are all workers of miracles? Have all the gifts of healing? do all speak with tongues? do all interpret? But covet earnestly the best gifts: and yet shew I unto you a more excellent way. The end of Corinthians 12:1-30

Are you going to listen to the Bible or are you going to keep spouting your weak excuses why you must continue to support your one pastor system?

"You will never find a perfect church!" Would you like to show me where scripture declares this? " Were not perfect, just forgiven!" Where does scripture directly in these words share your sentiment? How about this one? "The Bible does speak of leaders in the church!" Yes! Not one, but many! The bible clearly supports plurality of leadership, NO TOP DOG! Sorry, you cannot have it your way and obey scripture!

Another scripture? How about this one? I Peter 5:1-6

1 The elders which are among you I exhort, who am also an elder, and a witness of the sufferings of Christ, and also a partaker of the glory that shall be revealed: Feed the flock of God which is among you, taking the oversight thereof, not by constraint, but willingly; not for filthy lucre, but of a ready mind; Neither as being lords over God's heritage, but being ensamples to the flock. And when the chief Shepherd shall appear, ye shall receive a crown of glory that fadeth not away. Likewise, ye younger, submit yourselves unto the elder. Yea, all of you be subject one to another, and be clothed with humility: for God resisteth the proud, and giveth grace to the humble. Humble yourselves therefore under the mighty hand of God, that he may exalt you in due time:

The scripture points out the facts again! It is Elders that rule in The Church of the firstborn without Lording over God's heritage. Your pastor is only one man lording over God's heritage and if he reads the bible, he has no excuse!

Isaiah 1:13-15

Bring no more vain oblations; incense is an abomination unto me; the new moons and sabbaths, the calling of assemblies, I cannot away with; it is iniquity, even the solemn meeting. Your new moons and your appointed feasts my soul hateth: they are a trouble unto me; I am weary to bear them. And when ye spread forth your hands, I will hide mine eyes from you: yea, when ye make many prayers, I will not hear: your hands are full of blood.

Jeremiah 5:7

How shall I pardon thee for this thy children have forsaken me, and sworn by them that are no gods: when I had fed them to the full, they then committed adultery, and assembled themselves by troops in the harlots' houses.

Jeremiah 6:11

Therefore I am full of the fury of the Lord; I am weary with holding in: I will pour it out upon the children abroad, and upon the assembly of young men together: for even the husband with the wife shall be taken, the aged with him that is full of days.

Jeremiah 9:2

Oh that I had in the wilderness a lodging place of wayfaring men; that I might leave my people, and go from them! for they be all adulterers, an assembly of treacherous men.

Jeremiah 15:17

I sat not in the assembly of the mockers, nor rejoiced; I sat alone because of thy hand: for thou hast filled me with indignation.
