Mt Rainier 75 mile ride
This ride starts in Packwood on hwy 14 and travels north to Mt Rainier National Park. Travel through the south part of the park and out the East end and back to Packwood (75 miles and a total 5240 ft climbing). There are two other variations going up to Cayuse Pass (48 miles with a single 4030 ft climb) or even further up to Chinook Pass (55 miles and a single 4740 ft climb). Stunningly beautiful, even on a cloudy day as shown below. See map and profile at bottom of page. Very good and well maintained roads. Very light car traffic. Water available up to Mt Rainier loop, and water falls within the Park on the Pass routes are OK to drink.
