VH1
Here's what has happened so far...
VH1 is coming out with a new 'Reallity' show called VH1 Totally Obsessed. They are looking for people to spotlight on the show, so I emailed them about my 8-track obsession. They called immediately and said, "Crazy dude, send us a video". And gave me their Airborne Express #. My friend Sheryl came over and taped me talking about my collection for 36 minutes. They had only asked for 10-15 minutes, but we couldn't stop. The tape is pretty cool. Sheryl did a great job focusing on all the 8-tracks and keeping me talking by asking me questions.

I sent the tape using their Airborne Express #. I told the guy "You know how it is...they wanted it yesterday." Quoth he "Is that how it is?" I email them it's coming. They email they can't wait. They email it has arrived and they're going to watch it and call me. They call me at work. They love it. But. They have to sell the idea to the higher-ups.

Since then 2 guys at VH1 have called me 3 times just to talk about 8-tracks. They're still interested, but I don't know when they'll make up their minds. So keep your fingers crossed.
