Boombox
I finally won one of those awesome Radio Shack boomboxes that I have been wanting so long and it is coming with 59 mystery tapes. Hope I get some I don't already have. Here's the pic from ebay:



I also got Captain Beefheart - Safe as Milk on 4-track!




Then today I went to the Global Thrift in Waltham and got 20 easy listening 8-tracks for $4. Some will say I over paid, I know. Plus a Savoy case with the latch cut off. Some of the artists: Herb Alpert; Burt Bacharach; The Fifth Dimension; Pete Fountain; The Irish Rovers; Tom Jones (3); Bert Kaempfert (3); Henry Mancini (2); Annunzio Mantovani (2); Peter, Paul and Mary; Dionne Warwicke; Roger Williams (3) and a Reader's Digest compilation tape called 16 All-Time Popular Hits.

And finally one ebay seller forgot one of the tapes he owed me, and when he sent it later (Charlie Parker!), he threw in a Lily Tomlin - And That's the Truth.
