Join us at our 30th Reunion!
How about an Hawaiian Luau, Music, Dancing, Mini-Golf, Bowling, Raquet Ball, Wally
Ball, and Golf all in one weekend?
We are trying something different this year for our 30th reunion,
a full weekend of fun with our classmates and their families. For us that live out of town, why travel hundreds of miles
for a 2-3 hour event? We have put together all-inclusive weekend packages that include an Hawaiian Luau as the main
event for our reunion on Saturday night and other activities such as mini-golf, bowling, racquetball, wallyball and golf
throughout the rest of the weekend.
We haven't forgotten our classmates who still live in or near
Tunkhannock, check out the Discounted Activities page! Our goal is to have activities scheduled that
you can choose to participate in with other classmates and their families.
The all-inclusive packages are set up for 2 & 3 night stays,
for families, couples and singles. You also have the option to register just for the Reunion Luau
and Dancing!
Please note: As you surf through the pages of the site,
remember the separate prices for activities and rooms are available for individuals who do not want a package.

July 10 -12, 2009
Friday:
- Welcome Reception at Shadowbrook, (5 p.m. - 9 p.m.) When you get into town
(or just want to be a part of the welcoming committee) please join us at our welcome reception. Friends will be checking
in throughout the evening. We will have the weekend packages and prepaid tickets/vouchers/gift bags available.
We will also have a list of classmates attending and copies of the weekend activities. Light refreshments will be served. (Happy hour at Bogey's is from 5-7! High Falls Duo will be playing at Bogey's!)
- Bowling
- Miniature Golf
- Wally Ball, Raquetball, etc.
- Swimming
Saturday:
- Golf Tee Times will be made by request for individuals not participating in the Golf Tournament.
- Class of '79 Golf Outing is set for tentative first tee off at
11 A.M., finishing up around 5 P.M. in time for the Reunion Luau. Prizes will be awarded at the reunion.
- Afternoon activities, Swimming, Volleyball & Horseshoes by the Pavillion.
- Reunion Luau, 6 p.m. - 10 p.m., buffet dinner served under the Pavilion and a one hour
Polynesian Dance Show will be held poolside!
- Music & Dancing at Vibrations The Club at Shadowbrook Inn & Resort, 10 p.m. - 2
a.m., we have a fantastic DJ lined up! Very important, start spreading the word, we are
inviting all Tunkhannock Alumni to join us for music & dancing. There will be a minimum cover charge for everyone,
except The Class of '79 reunion guests!
Sunday
- Golf Tee Times booked by request.
- Sunday Brunch at Perkins, seating from 8 A.M. - 11 A.M. Discount vouchers will be sold
ahead of time and for those buying the inclusive weekend packages it will be included. We are designating a time
so that they can reserve a section for us and will be prepared to handle a large number of us at one time. If the
time doesn't suit you, you can go when you want. More details will be included on the Discounted Activities page.
- Sunday Night Poolside Movie, hang out with family & friends and enjoy a movie, instead
of the Drive-In, we'll have the "Pool-In". (No kegs allowed, just kidding!) Have any G rated movie requests?
Happy Feet is always a big hit.
