The (New) Tomorrow People Drinking Game (Version 1.1)
by Beth Epstein and Jeremy "Jez" Rogers with contributions from Cat Levy,
Anne VanVelzen, Wendy Kelley, Nathanael Nerode, and Darryl Gillikin.
![[Pretty Rainbow Bar Graphic]](image_bar.gif)
Note: Tomorrow People don't ingest anything that will affect the functioning of
their minds. Alcohol affects the mind. Therefore, Tomorrow People don't drink
alcohol. This game is meant for root beer, juice, or other soft drinks, or you
could use M&M's (1=sip, 2=gulp, use snack size/halloween size bags for whole
drink-- or two really big handfuls). Or you can be really weird and put the
M&M's in a drink. But the M&M's have to be blue, and the drink must be
carbonated and sweetened.
Oh, yes, and there are minor spoilers for the origin story (if you've seen
The Culex Experiment or The Living Stones, it's all ready been spoiled for you)
and possibly other episodes.
Logistical stuff: Some events fit more than one cue. Go with the higher
value- if it's multiple sips use 3-4 sips to the gulp.
Now, on with the game.
![[Same thing]](image_bar.gif)

appears).

- Someone whose last name isn't Damon speaks with an American accent (drink
only the first time they speak).
- Twice if it is a fake Southern one (ditto).
- A bumbling idiot gets in the way of an investigation (whether this is a
good thing or a Bad Thing^TM).
- One or more mysterious characters appear so as to keep the plot alive (one
for each appearance).
- There is a sentimental moment between characters.
- Someone spews out a truism that applies to the episode.
- A bad guy wants a good guy dead but another bad guy somehow prevents this
or the villains are otherwise arguing.
- Any time a villain is right under their nose.
- A villain is followed.
- Twice if it's on a bike- motor or conventional.
- Three if by rollerblades.
- A guest star takes an action similar to one of the other characters they
played in other projects.
- Instances of obvious foreshadowing.
- A phone call or telepathic call keeps someone from stopping an important
development.
- Someone gets into trouble while talking on the telephone.
- Twice if they're talking to Adam at the time.
- Bad guy acts like good guy or vice versa.
- Twice if it involves General Damon (or at least his body).

another serial.

time they appear and if you don't know, don't worry about it).
- Stock footage of the spaceship is shown.
- A scientific improbability is an important plot point.
- One for each mention of Roger Price in the credits.
- A four letter word generally not acceptable on Nickelodeon is uttered (one
for each use).

![[You're not missing much, really]](image_bar.gif)

- Jade's dog survives an episode.

- The same TP appear two serials in a row (break-outs negate this).
- A TP is shown to have two parents living together.

- A term from the original series is used for the first time in the new series.
- Somebody is missing a power, a power doesn't work, or the TP discover a
new power at a very convenient time.
- When they avoid teleporting when it would make things easier for them but
less interesting for the climax.
- A theme tune is used for the first time.
![[one more]](image_bar.gif)
Drink the entire drink when:

- A TP who has left the show without explanation is mentioned on-screen.
- A member of Adam's immediate family is mentioned or shown on-screen.
- Megabytes mother and sister are shown on screen.
- Drink another one if Millicent looks likes Kevin's impersonation.
- There is a continuity reference to the original series.
- A director has been used by the show before. (None were.)
- Lucy Allen teleports. (On second thought, drink everything in sight for
this one. You're going to need it!)
- Any time a final scene of a story is inappropritate, stupid, or makes absolutely no
sense, finish off your glass, you deserve it.
