Seeing the look on Tori's face when I tell her I can't stay almost melts my resolve-- it's been wavering all day. I almost tell her to forget it, let me go change, I'll be back in half an hour, ready to party, dreams forgotten. Use my day off as planned-- to celebrate Tori's birthday with the team. As hard as we've been training, I need it.
The thing is, these dreams... I don't think they're random. There's a reason I'm having them, some purpose. I have to go, and it can't wait. Duty calls.
