The rest of the team is trying to cheer her up-- but to no avail.
I may regret this, but the best way to distract Tori is to tick her off. "The last one in the water's a little girl."
"Uh-oh." Blake knows I'm asking for it.
Tori glares at me. "You're going to pay for that!"
I race for the water, Tori at my heels. When we reach it, we wade into the water. Tori, laughing, pushes me over.
The laugh is worth getting soaked.
