We Have Never Seen Anything Like This!
In these last days, our concept of Revival will change, for God will manifest His power and Glory in
a fashion we have not yet seen.
The Bible tells us that the works that Christ did, and greater works, we shall do.
Mark 2:1-5 and verse 12
In the first verse we find that it is reported that Jesus is in the House.
And when Jesus is the house, things are happening. Revival is going on.
When Jesus walk the earth where ever He was, things were happening, the lame walked, the blind regained sight,
those in bondage were set free,. things were happening!
Revival is not a place we arrive too, Revival is a Journey
We walk through this dry desert of life; know that God has promised us an Oasis.
But as we walk a long,
The sand gets
hot on our feet
We get sweaty, dirty and tired
We know that the Oasis is out there for God
promised it to us, But we
are tired, and our feet are sore,
So we decide to sit right down in the sand
Why not? The Word of God says, They that wait on the Lord, shall renew
there strength... So I just sit right here and wait till God sends someone by.
After all, the Word of God also says, they shall mount up with wings as eagles, run and not grow weary, walk and not
faint.
Surely, mount up with wings means God will send a airplane to fly me the rest of the way... NOT!
When the Bible speaks of waiting on the Lord, it refers to the action
of a Waiter, one who is busy serving, not siting!
So if you are sitting in the middle of the desert, waiting for God to send someone to your rescue, I have news for
you... No one is coming. You better
pick yourself up by your own boot straps and walk on toward your blessing.
Tell me, why would God entrust someone else with your destiny.
God
is not going to put your destiny in the hands of someone else!
You have the responsibility to embrace what God has given... Many of you have been given a Prophetic Word, and you
will not see it come to fullness, until you embrace it!
And when it was reported that Jesus was in the house, people came from all over, and packed the house out. So many people, that you could not get near the doors or windows.
Many had come knowing that they would find healing, deliverance, and freedom from bondages all the answers that they
needed would be at the feet of Jesus.
And it is the same for us today. If we want to walk in power, we must
spend time at the feet of Jesus daily. I don’t mean were we just pray and
petition Him.
What I am talking about is setting time aside each morning to fellowship with Him, to get to know Him, to talk to
Him... And let Him talk to you.
I have learned a long time ago
If you are going to walk in Power Publicly, then
you better be Plugged
In Privately!
You must spend time with Him daily, to know Him, and I don’t mean pray as you go... I mean time set aside were
He has your undivided attention! A place were you sit at His feet.
In this passage, we find a man who is sick with palsy. Palsy is a paralysis
with uncontrollable tremors. The body just shakes and trembles uncontrollably.
This man is unable to get up by himself. He just lays there, trembling
in his bondage. And the Bible tells us that four people carried him to the house
were Jesus was.
When they found that the place was packed out, and the doors and windows were block by the crowedÿ they could have
decided to take the man home and try another day, but they did not.
Theses four people were persistent, committed to getting their friend to the feet of Jesus. They began to tear the roof open, and lower their friend down.
You see, For the people who are hurting, in bondage, the back row just won’t do... they must pull away whatever
obstacles... and get to the feet of Jesus.
This sick man of palsy represents sin and every other bondage and life controlling problem in our society today.
We don’t have to travel far to find people sick with palsy...
Little 15 year old girls, pregnant with child
Young girls being molested
Boys hooked
on drugs and alcohol
Women being
abused
Men trapped
in life controlling problems
All across our nation.
In our schools, in our work place, right were we live... next door... there are people trapped
in sin... bondage... shaking uncontrollably in their palsy.
And they need someone to bring them to the feet of Jesus, to receive revival.
In this passage, there are four people carrying this man sick with palsy. And you know what the Bible does not say...
The Bible does not tell us the Names of these four
Their names are never mentioned!
For it was not about any one of these four, it was about the one sick with palsy, getting his
sins forgiven, and receiving deliverance and healing.
Likewise, we are called to live Revival, and Revival is the Journey, where ever we go if Christ
is alive in us, we should be bringing Revival.
It is not about us, but the Christ in us, reaching hurting people in our city.
The Word of God tells us that for this purpose the Son of God was manifested, to destroy the works of the darkness.
these works
and greater works shall you do,
because
I go to be with the Father
So, wherever we go we should bring Revival.
When we walk into a room we should shatter the darkness
Our mere presents should cause the devil to run!!!
When we walk in the Presence and Power of God then your city will experience Revival and people
will be amazed!
They will say
I have never meet someone like that
I have never seen a Church like that
I
HAVE NEVER SEEN ANYTHING
LIKE THAT IN
OUR CITY BEFORE!
