July 5, 2007: It's entirely possible I'm as surprised that I'm updating this site as you guys (Provided anyone should actually be visiting this site anymore) are. Well, basically what happened was that I was cleaning out old image files that were on the verge of going beyond my web file limit (at least the free limit) so I deleted a whole bunch of pics. Problem was that suddenly the web sites background with all of the words were all gone with the exception of one which was really hard to read. So, I created another background, (the one you can see now) and I think by-and-large this one is better. Okay... maybe a little too bold, but then considering virtually no one (including myself, I'm afraid to say) comes here anyway... but hey, it's still up and it does get my occasional attention. That is all. :) March 2, 2007: It might be a dead sight, but it's not forgotten! I noticed a couple more ABL/ABM sites have gone the way of the Dodo, so I removed the links and banners. December 6, 2006: And now the muck's official web site is gone. So I'm deleting it from my links page. I've also made a minor change to my site's name. December 1, 2006: A Bug's Muck... has been taken down. My special thanks to everyone who was a part of it in making it such a memorable and wonderful experience. I noticed some while back that certain aspects of my muck self, such as a more open and silly personality, started making their way into my RL self. I became more confortable with being 'myself' at work and such. So I can honestly say that the muck has changed me for the better, and I suspect that at least a little part of Basil will always be with me. "Viocondios, my darling." I have subsequently removed the link to the muck. September 26, 2006: According to a message on her web site, 'Willow' is taking her site down permenantly. I have consequently deleted the link to that web site from my links page. August 17, 2006: When a web site hasn't been updated in over seven months it's a pretty safe bet it's dead. Yup... basically this web site is kaput. I don't with to go into details, but circumstances over a good number of months have taken the wind out of my sails on creating more stuff for my site. I've made a couple of attempts, but it just wasn't in me. I honestly can't say that I won't ever create more. But at this point I find it very doubtful. This includes RP logs. If you wish to read the end of the 'Unexpected Journey' log story, a brief description can be reached here In case this is the last entry for this web site, I'd like to personally thank every one who visited and supported my web site and it's creations. I regret a number of the events that have lead up to this situation, but while I'm not blaming anyone or pointing any fingers, I'd also like to point out to a certain person who was involved in this that they may feel I broke a promise in spirit, but to me we simply viewed the circumstances differently. I also hold no ill feelings toward you. My very best thanks to everyone! Basil January 22, 2006: Seems I've been very neglegent in adding this one particular link to my links page. It's to the A Bug's Fan weblog site. If only Megan can forgive me for my horrible short-sighteness! *Sobs!* *Takes a few deep breaths* I'm okay. Everything else on the links page should be up to date. December 8, 2005: I've finished navigation including links at the bottom of nearly all pages, at least the ones I felt needed them. I also found a couple pages missing a background that's been taken care of and one story that was partially missing, 'Riley' is back to normal. I'm going to take a break for a bit to take a breather, gather some ideas and with the Holiday Season coming my time will probably be limited. December 4, 2005: Clean-up of the html is going well. I accidently goofed on the 'characters' page, but fortunately I have a back-up. You can see a little change that I've done that on the respective page the link to that page is gone and changed to black text. Seemed redundant to have a link to that page on that page. O.o I've discovered in my clean-up efforts that two ABL related web sites on my links page have dissapeared, the first 'Sombrero Club' and 'Cari's Island Corner' so I've removed those links and banners. I've decided that instead of going to the trouble of 'cleaning up' the writings and log pages (Since they don't get changes ever) to leave them as they are but go ahead and put a link to the next log in the series. Speaking of Logs... It's become pretty apparent that the log saga of 'Unexpeted Journey' and the extended lengthy lack of logs from that series as well as any other RP logs, I think it's safe to say that there will be no more RP logs from this series, and probably from the muck. I'll write up a story shortly on how 'Unexpected Journey' comes to an end. I'd like to thank those who were involved in it's creation for their participation. December 2, 2005: Hey all! I've finally decided to get my little lazy abdomen in gear and clean up my html! Turns out it's not as bad as I originally thought, but since my html knowledge is limited, it's going to take some time since I'll be doing it page by page. This is mainly to help me maintain it a little easier. Also because my html knowledge is limited, you might find a few things just a little... off. Don't be surprised, but if something stays off for a considerable amount of time or is still that way when I announce I'm finished, limmie know. Okay? I do have a few minor ideas in mind of what I do want to add or change. One is that when you complete a log in a log series like Muted Identity or Unexpected Journey, I'll put a link directly to the next log or suggested related story in the series so you don't have to go back to the list of logs to get to the next one. So... until then: 'This site temporarily under minor remodel.' Thanks for your patience. October 6, 2005: The other day I found an ant on my rear view mirror of my car. October 3, 2005: Due to personal reasons I'm not in the position to explain, I won't be visiting the muck for an extended period of time. I will be keeping my web site up and available. July 10, 2005: Don't get excited, it's just a minor note. Hey, I know this site looks like it's neglected, but being an adult with a job (Both housekeeper for my mom and step dad. Can you say 'Cinderella, Cinderella? Just kidding. But I do keep fairly busy, Oh... forget it. It's just a lame excuse to justify laziness, blah blah blah.) Anyway... mostly it's just to let people know that this site does keep my attention, and I'd like to thank Megan of A Bug's Life Blog Spot for letting me know of a couple little mistakes or problems with my site.
