| Yamada sensei is currently in the middle of a world wide mission to
help in the efforts at world peace. He is traveling the globe speaking to
world leaders of nations as well as the heads of the various aikido groups
in an effort to unite everyone with God at the center. He has recently met
with the leaders of the nations of Sri Lanka, Israel, Taiwan, and Japan,
and is on his way to Washington, D.C. He then has immediate plans to visit
England and Israel again, with India, Tonga and Australia next on his
list. While staying here he asked to be taken to Cherokee N.C. to meet
with a tribal leader to learn about Native American culture and what
methods they use in conflict resolution.
Despite being exhausted from his recent travels, Yamada sensei found
the strength to teach our class on two occasions. We are humbled and
grateful beyond words that he would take the time from his important work
to visit with us and to teach our class.
