After the test fit. I generously coated the spars with Liquid Nails and replaced the skin with the straps holding it in place. I used a 6lb hand sledge hammer and scrap 2x4 to move the skin exactly into place, then secured it with 1 1/4" decking screws. I measured and added the last section of skin at the rear.

I have seen where folks recommend using two layers of 1/8" Luan to avoid snapping the sheet. I had no trouble at all using the 1/4" laun bending it length wise. It was a relatively easy install.
