I cut out the inside galley panels and test fit them. I then removed them & set them aside. I considered using aluminum on the interior sides. I liked the retro look, but Jennifer mentioned that the formica will clean and generally hold up better so we are going with the formica.
Preliminary plans are to have a faucet and sink at the far right, 2 pullout shelves in center, ice box on left. Upper cabinets are to have sliding doors on the right, 2 drawers in center, and a microwave in the left. Under the microwave will be a small cutlery drawer.
